Thor/Ironman vs Godzilla is a reference from a 70s Marvel comic called Godzilla King of the Monsters where Godzilla battles the Avengers

Dude, you missed a whole lot. This is a Godzilla sized massacre of Kong from start to finish. Kong got demolished and badly.
Not really, Godzilla's bars were very surface level and didn't really actually come at Kong that much besides his first verse. Kong's bars were much more deep and hard hitting

The only ones who give it to Kong are ironically the ones who didn't catch any of the main bars. Stop crying and get over it dude 🤣🤣

The 1st line in the rap is From the depths of the sea, obviously where Godzilla is from , but also a line in Who am I/Whats my name by Snoop and Dre : From the depths of the sea, back to the block, Snoop Doggy Dogg, funky as the, the, The D.O.C.
video is bass boosted. Godzilla's first line was Back From the Sea which was Snoops opening from his Second big song What's my MF Name.
11:42 the Skull Island movie, part of the Godzilla Monsterverse, Kong ripped the tounge out of a Skull Crawler. (only part i remember with a tongue in it)

btw the "Come at me with Iron Man and Thor and I'll still destroy ya" is a reference to an obscure marvel comin cron the 70's where Godzilla fought Thor, Iron Man and Mighty Joe Young (a blatant king kong ripoff) and won
Also destroy ya could be a reference to Destoroyah who is one of Godzilla's enemies
I saw some other comments on another reaction vid and looked it up but one of king kongs suits also used rabbit fur so rabbit flambe since he was set on fire at one point in old movie
In the Jack Black King Kong (which I liked) he fought t-rexs and sea snakes and at some points if you pause right the tongues do touch. Just fun facts!

To me this is so much better than the Ford vs Marx, and Godzilla is King of the Monsters after this.. Esp the Falling off the Empire (The Show Smollet was on) except the beat down is real (unlike Smollets fake beat down) and the Harambe line

In the original King Kong (the 1933 one), Kong is referred to as "The 8th Wonder of the World."
The Godzilla Snoop reference was his opening bars for what it was worth.
As best I can tell most folks gave Kong verse 2 and Zilla 3, meaning whoever won verse one was likely the winner of any reaction. I gave it to Kong but one was close enough that I understand some folks thinking Zilla pulled it out :)
I've had a lot of Zilla winner comments so idk.

iirc the zilla voice is based on one of the only times he actually talked in a movie, i checked a clip and as hard as this voice was im glad they stuck to referencing the old voice and didnt try to actually replicate it cause the old voice was legitimately painful >.

so you disapprove of simpanzee which was good word play, callin it cheesy, yet lose it for a moment over a random cankles comment?! 🤔
I didn't disapprove of simpanzee just called it for what it was, a little cheesy. And yeah the cankles caught me off guard, it was pretty random and came out of nowhere and made me laugh. Idk what your point is. Sometimes some stuff is just funnier and it's typically pretty subjective. You're not wrong for liking simpanzee more than I did. Also it wasn't the deciding factor in my decision, I fail to see how the two lines are even comparable.
@Opinion the point was pretty clear i was expressing confusion on how you could talk about simpanzee like it was a bad line cause it was cheesy when cheesy doesnt automatically equal bad, it was a decent play on words, and was actually relevant to the rest of that line just addin a lil extra to it at the end meanwhile cankles which was used in a similar way yet wasnt cleaver or relevant to the rest of the line and was just a random nothing thrown into the middle of a line had you bustin out.
i understand gettin caught off guard but that wasnt even that jarring of a comment so its just baffling to me how you could just 'meh' a legitimately good line that, from what ive seen, most people would get caught off guard by and/or at least get a chuckle out of yet probably the most mundane jab in the whole thing got a bigger rise outa you then anything else : /
I agree cheesy doesn't equal bad, what I said was it's a little cheesy, not bad, just a little cheesy, and I think my face pretty well tells you I enjoyed the line. As for cankles, I laughed then immediately questioned why I found it funny. I even followed that up with the same points you're making now stating that it wasn't a punchline and that he just kind of snuck it in there. I'm not sure what more there is to say about it. @@reacreations
