So we all agree Oddyssey is a disgrace to it's predecessors?
Personally I don't think any other theme in the entire Assassin's Creed franchise managed to top this song.
I agree, but the one from Black Flag comes close, in my opinion.
I think a solid third would either be the Revelation's theme or Ratonhnhaké ton from the AC3 dlc
Did you hear Ezio's family Origins version it's the best after The Original along with the Rogue one.
But they did incorporate in nearly every other AC game which is nice. I really liked its fusion in the AC Rogue theme.
Maybe unpopular opinion here, but i also really love the "Trouble in Town" piece from the AC3 OST. The driving thrill of that artpiece is outstanding from the otherwise mediocre AC3 soundtrack IMO.
I will never forget the key campaign moments that were underlined with that music e.g. the chase of Charles Lee. Good memories.

Christine Nonbo Andersen. She started in the DR childs choir age 12, then the womens choir and worked her way to the national ensemble as first sopran in 2017. Inbetween she also took an education from the danish Royal music conservatory in 2014. She is the first to ever having gone the whole way from the childs choir to the top without any troubles along the way (The auditions and admittance are quite difficult) Her age today is 37 I think.. One of the most and truly inspiring saga I've ever played. I owe so much to AC franchise from the very beginning up to Black Flag. This was the real AC. Everything was related, linked, described. In one word: lived. It was so real, intriguing, magical, lost in the sand of times and yet so relatable. Ezio was such a great character. A true (anti?)hero. The entire saga was held on his shoulder. Such an awesome story line. It did truly open my eyes in a way. I'll be forever in debt with this since it made me enjoy several years of gaming. Thanks, Ezio. Wherever you are.
I can feel your words man! Ezio's saga taught me so many things about life! I'm forever in debt of ezio, for mentoring me.
@@kartikgudeshwar758 The same happened to me. It taught me to look at things from another angle, is you know what I mean. And never ever trust things and consider things as they look. That's the greatest lesson of all ;)

Ezio's story is unique. As you don't see it often in media.
The reason people react the way they do with this song. Is because from the moment of his birth in game we watched and lived Ezio's life. We grew to care about him, his success failures, goals. future. Ezio the character became a person we knew. Fictional or not we lived his story and when his story came to a close we mourned his passing not as a character or a person but as a loved one or someone we personally knew.
My story is one of many thousands, and the world will not suffer if it ends too soon.”
- Ezio Auditore da Firenze
Yet the truth is we all suffered as it finally did come to a end. A life of someone we knew.
That's why this song will still affect those who watches his story.

This brings back memories of a young boy, sitting with his friends in the living room playing his favorite video game for the first time. I remember the smiles, the laughter, the shock and the tears.

this soundtrack never never gets old, the feelings the memories playing the game, and ending of ezio story too,a true master piece
God, I miss the coupling of Patrice Desilets directed AC games and Jesper Kyd's amazing scores. It was a different time, for gaming, for the series, and just overall. Some of the modern AC games aren't bad, but they've gone so far afield from what they originally were and evoked.
Utterly beautiful song, and brings back some absolutely amazing memories and moods.
Couldn't have said it better myself :')
I wouldn’t say that in particular but rather that they let the game evolve into different storylines that somehow all tie in together. I was thinking the same after playing Rogue and Syndicate. But still love em all because, you know, it’s AC. But ACII will be forever the best of em all. So much emotions going into it, not just the gameplay but the music and the story altogether, such an amazing game to play and dive in to.
@@a90d73 AC was the modern plot, everything led to it. It was supposed to be a trilogy, Desilets wanted it that way. AC and AC2 were amazing thanks to him.
Afterwards, the story went downhill.

The best. May it never change.

Ezio really had a tragic life
in AC2 when you met Machiavelli back in Florence from Venice, you can visit your family household and use your eagle vision. You could then see the “ghosts” of your family (Giovanni, Maria, Frederico, Claudia, and Petruccio). I tried it and it teared me up. Poor, poor Ezio. Then again, if it never happened, he wouldn’t have had become the legendary master Assassin he was.

I never get tired of listening to these music themes from games and movies
I've never played assassin's creed, I've never owned a PlayStation nor spent my childhood playing computer games, but AC has really captured my attention here on youtube. It seems like there's an incredible story in these games with characters that the players really love.
I wish they would share the story, the world, the music and the characters with us none-playing people in a series or a movie franchise - but done better than the movie they made couple years back, that flopped big time.
I feel like it has an incredible potential to grab a much larger audience than just the pc- and PS-players if they took their time and put it to the screen with respect for the original story, music and lore
