Kipchoge’s pace is truly unbelievable. Feel like I’m getting to a good level of fitness yet I could handle his pace for 3k at best

The majority of people would not be able to keep of with Kipchoge's marathon pace for 800m, let alone a kilometer. These guys are truly next level.

3:56 XD By the way, the 1 mile world record, 3:43, is low 55s per 400, and you know Cameron Myers, the new prodigy who set the new high school mile record of 3:50? He almost beat the womens 1500M time in a mile! I mean I can barely run a kilometer that fast XD jk I have a 5k of 19:21 which is 3:52 per km pace, but still, those times are immaculent! I personally find those times to be WAY more impressive than the 100m, 200m, and 400m records. But that's just me.

When you state that the "average" person can run a 5K between 25-33 mins that should be qualified as someone who is actually training. Considering that the true "average" person in Europe or North America is overweight and doesn't exercise regularly, that is misleading.
Even the "average" Parkrun time at the slow end of this range, 32 minutes according to their website, and although an entry-level still requires some basic fitness and training to even be able to finish!
