Everything he said about the engine did not add up. I knew he was lying then, my wife got ripped off by a auto mechanic shop and I went up there, fixed the car and got back every single dime she spent on him. Reason why she didn't go to me is because she hates hearing me complain about her driving crazy but still my wife and I'll do everything in my power to not let her get swindled because we gonna handle that on sight.

Luckily the shop next door took my car and has made more progress than his shop ever did. I just hope they find everything they took apart under my hood! What an ass! I don’t think I’ve encountered a mechanic who charges storage fees for a vehicle that’s still being worked on in some way. The mechanic could just take his time and rack up daily charges. They should only be allowed to charge storage when the job is completed but not paid for.

His response was he is a very popular and busy mechanic and he forgets from time to time. He also said he doesn’t have office staff. I’m glad he flaked on me. I could easily be in this woman’s shoes. This isn’t the first car I heard that went missing.

I'm a professional mechanic who owned my own shop for 15 years. Men used to know more about cars than women but today, neither know anything about cars. You have to look for a trustworthy person when you choose a mechanic. A shop that is in business for a long time is usually a good sign and try and ask your friends who have used a shop before.

The plaintiff would need to prove damages. She had nothing, as he just posted it prior to walking into the courtroom. If he did not take it down as the judge instructed, the plaintiff could attempt to make a case.

This happened to me with a guy my deceased brother worked for for years and was considered a friend!! I found an engine from a company for $800 had it sent to his shop and he was angry that I didn't let him find the engine!! My car had been constantly overheating so he put in a brand new radiator for $250 but the car still overheated!!and the "friend" told me I needed a new engine!! Finally he calls me that the engine has been installed and he tested the car by driving it on the highway multiple times!! I pay him pick up the car drove it for 10 minutes and guess what? The car overheated!! Turns out he lied didn't put the engine in the car and kept the engine after telling me the new engine was no good!! when I called the company they gave me my money back but the friend did nothing to help me out!! A lot of these guys don't care unless they can scam you!! I should've taken him to court but didn't!!Heard his business closed down!! I wonder why?

Future tip ladies : When you go to a shop please bring a man who knows about cars with you if your not someone who fixes your car manually for yourself. He said the cars ignition would be on but would not turn, that is on his end to finish installing the engine properly. Happens to be an alternator, ignition switch/fuse or a problem with the battery in which all you need is some coke to break down corrosion. This guy is a faulty scam artist and should be jailed.

One thing I've learned in my life is if someone can't look at you straight when they're talking to you most likely they are lying! And this guy looks all over the place while talking to the judge! I can't believe one thing out this guy's mouth! And reading a few comments on here from people that have dealt with him and scammed out of money my instinct seems to be true with this guy.
