Honestly seeing how much went into getting just this little jet engine started and how serious it is I’m very happy to see mullet the way it is now and not a jet car.
No one was happier than me after the jet engine idea was scraped and I was told to remove the jet engine from the Mullet, I actually got a little sleep at night again. I was never really comfortable with the plan out of the gate but it worked out good in the end.
I think I'm quite the opposite with the way the afterburner hits on this thing, mullet would have been a fricken sight to see. I guess I'm just biased having seen the jet cars line up at my local drag strip when I was a very young kid. This isn't to say I'm not stoked as hell to see mullet every time he makes a rip down the strip
The amount of freedom and bald eagles in this episode is off the charts! Jet powered go cart. Jet-assisted tank. RC bomber. RC trucks. And, all the while, the amazing sound of pure horsepower coming from the drag strip!!!

(High frequency sounds are way worse for hearing damage than lower). I wish he'd start protecting his hearing. There's no way he doesn't have tinnitus already and he's got NO idea how bad it can get.
People want to develop on that land around the track but we can hear cars in your videos when you’re at the shop and we know you gotta drive a distance there. That’s crazy to me I really hope this land issue doesn’t hurt what you’ve built in the future. Good luck brother

@@JakeFromStateFarm6 still its a geared turbine engine, and part of the reason it was chose was it could run on just about any liquid fuel that burns, gas, diesel, alcohol, jet fuel, well in a pinch if we ever had to go toe to toe with the soviets or what ever you might find in the battle field in a pinch, that and the hot gasses dissapate faster then large clouds of diesel from a normal tank engine.

I'm honestly impressed with both how stable that B-2 Spirit RC plane is in flight and aerobatic maneuvers as well as how good of an RC pilot Cleeter is.
I would suggest leaving the jet at idle/minimum throttle for a couple of minutes after a hot run to let it cool down, the air flow through the system will cool it.
Cleetus you should Invite Dave Sparks and the gang to land in JH Diesels back yard in the Black Hawk helicopter! That will get his attention for sure! 😂😂😂

@@Brian-mp2mv I recall her accident being soon after Cleet met w her and the crew where he bought the jet for OG Mullet- which is not the same car/chassis as the current one at all either… I think it had the biggest impact w him pulling the plug since it was so close to home literally and figuratively ☹️
