  • Keeway rkv125 review. Great value 125cc motorcycle. Great looking bike! Keeway have definitely upped their game with this bike. I really liked the Superlight but this bike looks like they have gone up a level. Looks like a much more premium motorcycle.

    I find it amazing that the 125 cruiser market in the UK is so poor! I mean, none of the Japanese guys even offer a new 125 cruiser! Sports bikes get all the love and cruiser-style bikes get underpowered 11bhp machines. I wonder why 125 manufacturers make 10bhp bikes when the limit is over 14...

      I actually do want to buy a brand new 125...if the Yamaha XSR 125 had a feet-forward riding style, I'd buy it! For now, it will almost certainly be the RKV125 and then the Meteor 350 great vid.

    Hi Gilly I’m waiting to test ride the Keeway 302 v-twin, due at the end of August hopefully. My Superlight got me right back into biking again, after 50 years of just driving a car. Great channel, - thank you!

      @@GillyBikes - Thanks bud, I'm aware of the obvious like a slightly different rear mudguard and light assembly, different side panels, a small cowl/fairing on the headlight, back shocks are blaked out and the handlebars seem flatter and lower but I'm looking to find out if the engine is any different at all & is the UK version belt drive or chain? Reason being, it's being priced at £1200 more than the RKV!

      ive had my k light for 1 year now, it was second hand but i got a dodgey deal it came with issues but i have to admit, it runs like a dream , nice chunky wheels i found on the keeways, you feel strong on the road, the parts are nice and cheap but i've found for the price they are well made, i will always recommend a keeway for a beginner for sure, get a better bike once you have done mod 1 & 2 or DAS. imo if you need to know or wanan see my bike im happy sending vids or pic, let me know :) ridesafe!

      Only thing I'm concerned about really is if it holds its value later when I may want to sell it to pay for my first big bike - if I go that far of course. Would be cool to see your bike. Maybe you could put some footage on your channel?

    I don't care how it looks...unless it goes up to at least 80 mph...not 67 or 68...which means you can cruise only at 55 mph. I am not a chinese dull boy with 60 kilos. A man 6'2" and 200 pounds will never go with this toy over 68 mph. This is rediculous! Everybody in our country remake it hardly...they chip and mechaniclly transform it into at least into 17-18 hp...to go at least 80-82 mph...to be just worth to drive. Otherwise it is useless...you can buy a 32 kg all wheel drive scooter with a seat which goes 40 mph...and you can put it folded into a simple car boot, you can drive pavement and you don't care on a storage issues. A bike less than 11 kw or 15 hp is useless! And I am talking only about 125cc

    • @GillyBikes
      @GillyBikes  Před 9 měsíci +3

      In the uk a 125cc bike is mainly used by learners because it’s the maximum they can ride. Not many of them can go over 70mph. Most can do 60mph. Then you have people who use them for riding around towns. When the speed limit is 20 or 30 Mph you don’t need a 1000cc bike.

    • @davidb1892
      @davidb1892 Před 7 měsíci

      It s illegal to go over about 60 mph in most european countries(even on a freeway) that let you drive before the age of 18, which is what the 125 bikes are mainly used for
