  • In this episode, I wake up in a small village in the Central African Republic, where I asked to spend the night, because night fell in the jungle and I had nowhere to go. The villagers and their chief immediately took me in, and insisted I park my motorcycle inside the house as well. The people in this part of the Central African Republic are some of the best people I've ever met - and I will never forget their hospitality!

It's funny how people with so little can be so generous and (seemingly) happy, yet rich folks here in the west can be so suspicious of strangers (i.e. what does that stranger really want from me??) and unhappy because they always (seemingly) want more. Yes, quite the lesson!

I wouldn't say what the western mass media wants people to believe. I'm an African American and the western media here rarely covers Africa. The media so rarely covers Africa that some of my long held beliefs about Africa are being destroyed during Noraly's travels. Like most people world wide I thought that Africa was just a hot place year round. Most of us automatically believed that wild animals are roaming everywhere. I can't blame the media for that ignorance because I could have found other sources before now to be enlightened. That's why I stay on CZcams looking at videos of Africa to rid myself of that ignorance.

@@vp4744 I didn’t say there was anything bad in the video. You watched the video and extrapolated an idea to the general human experience that such empathy is not religion but from humanity and lived experience. I countered and said that if you think that humanity is the source for empathy then you have to apply the same to the evil in the world. You removed religion as the foundation of their empathy and kindness and replaced it with humanity so ok in that case humanity is the cause of both good and evil then. If you doubt that there is evil in general then you must either be willfully ignorant or sheltered and naive. If you’re the later then I’m sorry to be the bearer of bad news but the world is filled with much evil.

What struck me is how we enjoy watching the adventures and how we will not forget them, but everyone who meets Noraly, feels like this. The children of the village which took Noraly in for her safety (the chief said: "you will be safe here") and fed her and kept her safe, will eventually have children of their own and tell them stories about the time a white woman, who was riding her motorbike all by herself, came to stay overnight. How she smiled and laughed. How pale her hair was and how blue her eyes were, and with a wave and a smile, she rode away.
The men with their canoes, will remember the lone white woman with the lovely smile, crossed the river in their boat one day. It had never happened before and has never happened since.
So as much as we will remember Noraly's adventures, all those she meets will remember Noraly.

You consistently strive to showcase the positive and happy aspects of people, even in challenging environments. Your choice of accommodations reflects the true essence of the people. A number of times they fed me and allowed me to stay overnight in one of their huts. Sadly, my father was a different person when drinking whisky and to avoid certain bodily harm I headed for the village. I loved Africa and its people then and still do to this day. It saddens me the people have to endure poverty, corruption and conflict.

The villagers vibes were so pure that I couldn't help but cry tears of joy. It's been a while since I felt this way, but seeing them touched me on a profound level. Always drawn to kind souls, and your videos allowed me to experience the place where modern humans originated, leaving me feeling incredibly blessed. 👍

I’m so glad you were treated well in all the villages. That’s African hospitality. So my question is if an African biker would be riding around the Netherlands like this, would he/she get the same hospitality? If we only learned to love all humans the same, we would be a much better planet. Itchy, your humility through this journey has made me a fan.

Noraly, we are proud of you and pray that your adventures will help many to understand that we should always be grateful with what we have. I couldn't stop rewinding this video, the River and all those trees, OMG...Paradise as you mentioned it!

I am in awe. This lady has more courage than I could ever muster. Just when you do not think it can get any tougher, it does, but she always keeps calm with a sense of humour. It is also heartening to see how many good people there are in this world, always willing to help.

the more i watch noraly the more i appreciate the people of africa. specially the locals.
22:39 its so beautiful like majestic. one of the benefits of not getting civilized(in term of infrastructure) is, it preserves the natural beauty of the forest.
26:15 i think anyone who got treated like you will also do the same. i didn't experience what you experienced personally and yet my feelings want to do the same as you did.
if only there's no corrupt officials and some bad guerillas, the Africa will gonna be the greatest paradise of the world.

Unfortunately these innocent people are under western sanctions, Reasons being that terrorists that where used by the NATO let coalition that toppled Qaddafi in Libya invaded these country(Central African republic, Chad, Burkinaffaso, Mali, Niger etc) and the leader of this country decided to seek help from Russia in order to fight the terrorists that where causing genocide in these innocent villages, unfortunately France that refused to help and was the main actor against Qaddafi in Libya called on her NATO allies to sanction this country and they did. The good people of the western world need to know both sides of these problems.

Noraly I have loved every video from this season! However, this one was particularly special….when the villagers came out to greet you and said, ‘you are safe with us’ it made my heart happy. Everywhere there are good people, the smaller the place, the better they are….of course the way you treat everyone is so exceptional. You are a beacon of light everywhere you go…thank-you for taking me on this adventure with you, it’s just…astounding!

I am amazed at how beautiful the African landscape and it's people are. Noraly, you probably don't realize right now how much of a positive impact you're making on the people you meet. People coming from miles to see the Caucasian female moto rider. What an honor to sleep in the Chiefs house. At my age and health the only way im going to see this part of the world is through your lense. It warms my soul to see how many good people there are in the world. Here in the USA Muslims aren't always portrayed as good people yet time and time again i hear how it's Muslims that rescued someone including my own Yank brother in Malaysia. He was robbed in Kuala Lumpur and left with nothing including the loss of his passport. Our embassy, our Christian brothers and the authorities didn't help him, two Muslim men gave him food, water and shelter until he could obtain a temporary passport.
God Bless you Noraly and im looking forward to your future videos. 💙🙏
