I remember this beautiful scene of her triumphant performance in this show. Plus before she sang, she remembered her brother with the spotlight on her, cheering her on. I’m holding on tight, sort of speak, on my mom & sister. Sis & I lost our dad to lung cancer 30 years ago on September 1, 1991. My sister & I were 16 (my sister) & I was gonna turn 18 a month later. My dad was so proud of my performances in my school plays during my drama club days in high school. Also my choir solo. Had he been alive today, he’d be proud of me for auditioning for The Voice 4 years ago, & my You Tube video of me singing God Bless America featured on the TV show, Inside Edition. Plus Dad would of enjoyed the perks of having 2 daughters being nurses, who would of been spoiled rotten with trips around the world. Plus tickets to the Lakers games. RIP to my dad, Roberto 😪🙏

I watched this movie about 5 times since it came out on DVD, and every single time when the brother dies and appears in the spotlight scenes I always cry. Without fail, this is the only movie that literally makes me need tissues every single time. The movie is great though, so worth it.
