⁴ᴷ City Of Philadelphia | BOX : 7647 | 🔥2nd Alarm Fire | 1622 Ridge Ave |Evaluation Tones Drops 🚨

On 02/21/2024 Fire Department was dispatch to 1622 Ridge Ave for a reported Building Fire. Engine 13 & Ladder 1 who is station across the street from the building itself arrived on location in seconds. Ladder 1 goes and reports that they have a 3 story occupy row dwelling 40x40 with heavy smoke showing from the roof going 2&2 in service, few minutes later after Battalion 11 arrives on location he puts all hands in service for heavy Fire on the 3rd and roof which resulted in him requiring for 2 additional Engine and Ladder. After almost an hour, conditions was not getting any better and deputy 3 order for the 2nd Alarm as well as drop the emergency evacuations tone for all emergency personnel inside and on top of the building. It took 4 hours to get the Fire Under Control as firefighter was going exterior Attack with Hand lines from the street level, Ladder pipe and even working off of other buildings. 100 firefighter and over 50 fire apparatus was at 1622 Ridge Ave and no one was seriously or badly injured and the fire is being investigated.
