- The progress of my corkscrew flip/ kick recorded in HD with my canon t2i (I took it to every practice session throughout the 7 months).
I am still "locking it in" 100% but the improvements since November have been great for me but you can probably get this faster!
practice, mental preparation, and dedication!

Looks like it took you a little more than 5 minutes
was looking for this xD
He forgot to focus
He never took his 15 second pause breaks
ahahahah nice one
Remyparkour
did you focus tho?
He can learn it in only 5 minutes if he focused but he didn't 😔
anyone whos willing to put that much commitment into something deserves a subscriber, very impressive
If only you tried to focus, you would've landed it in 5 minutes
Matthew Chow best comeback ever
Matthew Chow lmao you made my day m8 😂😂
takes him 7 months tells us to learn it in five minutes
good point
@@Koolpotato-ts9tw I think that is very cool and interesting that you would reply to a comment I made two years ago

I'm not sure if its the shoes but it looks like he broke his ankles a trillion times
Kendrick Pruitte it always looks like that lol even with other flips, I feel we injured more when we already learned the flip.
Thanks so much for telling me this 😂😂😂😂
I appriciate this video! Even though I can land corks to a point now. It still is inspiring that you did it for 7 months and didn't quit. My problem that I have to over come are my frontflip 540s and double fulls. I have a tough time staying straight in my twists. This video helps me to see that things take time. And that if I don't give up, I'll eventually be able to do them. I thank you for the inspiration to keep pushing!
I think that it is awesome that you didn't quit and since I saw your progression, it inspired me to learn the cork. Thank you
Mr determined. Awesome brother you are capable of anything because your mind is so powerful. I am inspired !!!
This is actually the key to landing most tricks. People try to 'start' the trick before getting their height, which kills their height completely. I couldn't land b-twists or frontflips for the longest time, then I just tried putting that slight stall in both of them. Worked like a charm.
I love the dedication you put into this
Dang dude! This video just motivated me a lot! it just goes to show how hard work can really get you somewhere. Subscribed.
Thats what i love to see that was inspirational! Thats the spirit, love how you kept going, from the start to the ending is something special you left me speechless that was truelly amazing! Keep that spirit and motivation up it will help you achieve more greater things in the future!!
Corkscrew is one of the coolest non flip skills there is. Congrats 🎉!
What a power of will and determation I Congrate you , you are the best!
thats awesome you could see speed and bounce develop over the months of practice
inspirational dude.great to see what we're capable of with determination and effort
congrats!! i wish i had the enthusiasm and persistence like you do!!
On one of the flips on February I thought you landed it perfectly until your hands touched. Bro Congrats on the corkscrew!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Dude, you should be really proud of yourself for putting in all that hard work. Keep it up man.
I like your potential bro, you don't give up! You keep practicing until you get it down. Great job bro!!
I was really touched by your perseverance
and I also set it
you motivate me
Man, it's really motivates. Thanks a lot for your sharing!
check out the corcksrew of bboy blank from breaking soldiers
Never thought 4minutes of the same trick could be so interesting, but was very much so! Very inspiring! (: Thanks.
7 months of hard work = worth every single second of it. nice job man.
Your set from the very start was really good. When most people learn to cork they dont set they just jump and spin and dont invert it. Really good progression video.
Wow its awesome seeing you learn this so fast
nice upload, great to see a progression video dude.
Nice to see the progression to getting a trick from start to finish! I know how you feel, two steps forwards one step back a lot of the time - am still trying to get my corks down. By the end yours are looking sweet! I'm inspired to go back to drilling them!
good job bro. ive just started doin cork screws last sunday. i keep on landing on my knees.. nice video. continue what your doing, it inspires and motivates people like me.
at 2:22 the dog is like it looks like someone is taking longer than 5 minutes.
Very inspiring! Thank you
I like this video so much it gives me the inspiration i need
pigmie123 you're such a huge inspiration to me. it's really amazing to see how you can persevere for months to get moves down. much respect. hope you can make us all a tutorial once you get down solid [:
Great work so far bro
Its awesome that you record your move and put it together in a progression video, i regret that i didnt do that with my moves.
Wow awesome video this really encourages me to practice my corkscrew. Thanks
i just wanna say your pretty damn awsome for being so dettermined ;)
Thank you pigmie you inspired me a lot
U have a lot of determination btw corks look sooo sick
Your progession video is the best !
you make me brave to do corkscrew and I got it then !
2:22 dog approved
+pigmie dude tnx for showing this video it really inspired me to do a cork. i have learned b-twist already and i was planning to learn cork now.
You probably would have learned it fast if you learned how to cheat gainer first
Zachary Maneja cheat gainer is like 99x easier
Not a full cheat gainer. Like u can learn it up to the point where u are fully horizontal which will help
That’s what I did
This is a perfect tutorial and it's reliable
I landed a corkscrew a few time same as you but I had no control what so ever , and me being me thinking I for it down didnt try it again till a week later and had no chance of landing , it took me near enough 2 months to get up the courage and try it again as I had a few bad fails , after about 3 weeks consistently trying bit I finally got it again but its not an easy move to get down , and your video shows this exactly
Salute to very hard working luke nice job 👌👍👈
I think this is the best corkscrew tutorial.
Awesome to see you didn't give up. Btwist took me about a yr now I'm working on atwist I've had a ton of bad falls but have to keep at it
Atwist? lol i just tried it jumping from stairs and got it, but i still cant do a simple btwist xD
you gave me confidence bro💪👀
Keep it up man. Shit, I remember teaching myself to front handspring in high school just because I thought it looked fun. Eventually the soccer team I was on looked forward to the next attempt because I usually failed and it was a good laugh haha. Got it eventually. You'll lock it in.
great skill just following the steps
this has motivated me so much !! :)
amazing progression
because in my opinion I don't have it mastered.... I only like to teach things when I feel I have it down to my best abilities that way I can make a quality tutorial ... but I plan to make one eventually!
This is inspiring!
еее, man
good work!
it is interesting to watch your progressing)
Good stuff man.. motivation really.
you right Never Give Up
Awesome !!
so nice progression
NOW, A TUTORIAL!:D
nice progression!:D
I learned this in 2 days O.o
Dat natural talent and amazing facilities
I've been practicing the side flip all day with lucas's way and it's coming along quite well
everyone is different. Some people can get it in a week others longer. Either way I commend you for your perseverance. You'd busted your butt and got it. Good for you. Now on to doubles! haha
oneslygemini yeah it took pigmie 8 months to learn but took me 1 day to learn and land. It's all about who you are
It's fun to see when he started
Thanks for this video bro
Thx alot for this Great motivation bro my cork is in progress ,hug from Thailand
How the hell do you trick with shoes on? Haha,
I feel like it's not as comfortable as being bare-foot
With shoes, you'll somehow develop strenght. Not always you'll be bare-foot. But, yes, it is comfortable as hell. :0
Hi
This video inspired me!
Thanks for this amazing and inspiring video! I've been following your progressions and day one, my take off is good but my rotations need alot of work.
I posted a video if you want to check it out.
+OTDinosaur Scrubs fuck you
something i noticed in alot of your attempts and in some of your later ones is 1. you tend to start kicking through then stop kicking to drive with your knee and by the time you twist your not driving that leg anymore, use the kick to go into your twist. 2. you slightly throw your head or look over your shoulder fairly soon, keep your chest high on the takeoff and let yourself travel up. But you've got it! Keep at it and you will have them locked in.
this is inspiring bro. I can do a gainer, and jstep moon kick pretty much perfectly, but I always fear the "spin"... it's hard getting over the fear on grass
Ouch!!! lmao Very nice video!
wow, awesome man! :D
Amazing i want to learn !!
I've learned cheat gainer in one day, now I want to move on to the cork screw but seeing you practicing it over 7 months, kinda demotivates me to practice that move :D
wow you mastered it under 5 minutes
sick!!!
thanks for the video bro
respect!
Never give up lucas

That´s Cool!
haha it's amazing how inspiring is to watch a person developing some talent, i feel like i were the one who jumping. sorry for my lame english,a big hello from mexico!!
practice makes perfect
The last move I was learning before I stopped tricking for a bit I want to get back to this
You started trying corkscrews before gainers, and in fucking shoes?! You're crazy, I love it lol.
it took me a month to get my crappy cork and a long time to learn it with a j-step.it is definetly a trick that needs progression for everybody.
nice man, seems you basically got it down. I have a tip though, it really helped me with the transfer of momentum. It's just a different set-up. Try taking a few long, powerful steps in one direction, then turning your body 90 degrees to the line you ran from, while using your left foot to block and then just go into your cork. I am not sure if I explained that well enough, but it helped me land my corks more consistently. But this is still a great video, good job. Peace
wow, i can really see your progress. I really want to do the corkscrew too so I made a bet with my friend(girl) that if she can flare, I will do a full corkscrew. She flips and I breakdance.
well don't I feel special for landing my first cork two weeks in... I'm not landing them consistently yet, but this is definitely some good motivation. thanks so much!
inspiration
Inspiring
Corks were always my favorite even over back tucks idk why they are just funner than most flips
Yooo shoutout the cork you do at wells hall, currently a student at MSU tryna learn flips also
Very well done dude, im learning at the moment aswell, luckily i have trampoline which helps alot, its best to train these in shorts or baggy sweatpants
you landed your first corkscrew on my birthday!!!! XD
