My Pothos Plant is DYING? What to do?

- Pothos houseplants will start to look discolored as if they are dying without enough light. Pothos plants are marked as low light plants but they actually love medium to highlight. The Pothos plant may start turning a yellow coloration or the leaves might start to limp or curl. These are signs of a plant that is on its way to dying.
The most common reason Pothos plants die in household is due to inadequate lighting and overwatering. Figuring out how much water a pothos plant needs is a tough thing to figure out. Depending on where you keep the Pothos plant in your house will depend on how much sunlight it gets to consume more water.
The first thing you should do if you think your Pothos plant is dying is move it to an area with a little bit more sunlight. The second thing you should do is make sure you’re not overwatering the plant. The third thing you should do is make sure you’re not under watering the plant.

My pothos accidently got water left at bottom.. It got limp and yellow.. I tried repotting and cutting some bad roots.. praying it comes back.

I have two Pothos a Marble Queen and Global Green. I water them once every two weeks and when I do I give them a good drink but I let the pots fully drain excess water before putting them back into there decorative pots. I Fertilise both my Pothos once every four weeks. I have them both beside a South facing window for maximum natural light. I even bought a Soil Moisture Meter to check the soil and yes I have watered them earlier if the soil is dry. Just over two weeks ago I gave both my Pothos a trim and I already have lots of new growth multiple stems and already a new leaf has unfurled. Last few months I’ve noticed that my Marble Queen is getting quite root bound so the other morning I cut one third off of the roots off and replaced that part with fresh Pete and Perlite. So my Marble Queen can grow fresher roots and have more space to grow.
I inherited a large potted potosi from a friend. It’s dying for sure what’s my first step in saving it?

Ur plants r AMAZING. I was gifted my piece of pothos by my friend. It was her dad's & he is deceased. I feel AWFUL. It's dying & I honestly think I've overrated it!! 2 leaves left & they're wilting & turning yellow. But the there's the neck of the roots should these last leaves fall off. Do I accept the "die back" & wait 4 some sprouting? HELP!!!

I have a golden pothos. I don’t know how yellow it should be
my Pothos was healthy and steady before one of my cats push it to the floor and then I had to change it's pot. right after the fall it turns to a floppy shape and also starts to becoming yellow. I don't know what to do for it please guide me

What happens if you overwater? Do you simply just let it dry out? Will it get root rot? I repotted my pothos 2 weeks ago and now it's dying. I only watered it once since the repot. The soil is still wet. Any advice appreciated. Thx
This happened to me. If the soil is still wet after 2 weeks it doesn’t have good drainage. Soil should start to dry out almost immediately. Most likely it is root rot if it’s been sitting in wet soil. Take it out of the wet soil and clean off any rot. Spray with 3% hydrogen peroxide and repot in a good soil mixture. I’d recommend bottom watering to prevent overwatering. Good luck!
Here's a trick I'm always surprised to hear ppl have never heard before, use a banana peel and gently rub the leaves of any house plant you have. It adds vitamin d that's great for plants and gives it a nice shine. 🪴🍌
