    Oxygen is transported in the blood through two primary mechanisms: dissolved in the plasma and bound to hemoglobin. A small fraction of oxygen is physically dissolved in the plasma as a gas, and the majority is bound to hemoglobin, forming oxyhemoglobin.

    What I would like to know is how exactly big is the difference between the concentration rates concerning O2/CO2 for the mother and the fetus?. Is it true that the o2 concentration is on the side of the mother about 99% and on the side of the fetus only 65%? That would be a difference over 30%? 🙏
