This was Teddy’s moment to shine since it was promo for his first really big single & Kelly just wanted to sing with him because she’s a huge fan of his. She was mainly doing background type vocals to give him most of the spotlight, but what she did was still beautiful. Having said that, I’ve heard this version and the original, and I prefer the one with Kelly no question. Although she didn’t go off and was mainly a supporting role, she brought that extra magic to the song for me. I loved it! Kelly is secure enough in herself, her gift, and her place in the world that she can take the back seat, which is something that I really admire about her. She doesn’t feel the need to oversing, outsing, etc. all the time. We all know what she can do, unless you’ve been asleep the last 20 years. Lol.
Kelly lets artists shine. That in itself speaks volumes about her humbleness. There was no need for her to go off. We all know what she can bring. And I honestly think it was powerful even in its simplicity, as some would say.

Kelly Clarkson can sing any genre. And when she sings a duet, she likes to compliment the other singer. I would highly recommend checking out her other duets she has done on her show or her 2 new albums her new Christmas Album in 2021 or her New Chemistry Album in 2023. Great reaction
Kelly is a fan of Teddy. We know she can blow but don’t think she wanted to out do him vocally and take away from his time to shine, especially on one of his first national day time tv promo shots he’s gotten.
Also I think those weight loss adds are A.I def don’t think that’s actually her lmaoo
I think that they mesh well because of the fact that they're both without a genre you can't really put either of them in a box. But for Kelly who has super fan syndrome for Teddy She just wanted to sing back up. And for the fact that they barely ran through it once this was mind-blowing. Even when she hit those huge notes at the end She pulled herself a foot away from the mic.
In fact it reminds me of how Chris Stapleton "his humble side" he and Kelly share that when wanting to let other artists shine. Great song Teddy, great job guys and shout out to the BAND!!

This is a short spot on her daytime show. She always allows her guests to shine taking the background vocals. She enjoys promoting them as much as she can. Great short taste of his whole single.
I agree both held back some. But Kelly did sound like she did a run that took the place of the electric guitar solo.
And yeah he can easily sing TN Whiskey.
Those adds are AI. She is not promoting any weight loss anything.
Also, she was just letting him do his thing. I think they sound amazing and wish they would do more things together.

I think Kelly was holding back given that it is Teddy’s song. Kelly is a powerhouse and Teddy does the same. I love his voice and been a fan of both for years.
It’s that living her life divorce glow and Kelly is powerful she let him sing and shine being humble

I think Kelly complimented him perfectly in the first half. And went as hard as she needed to in the second half. It’s Teddy promoting his song, she didn’t want to make it Kelly and Teddy. It was teddy and Kelly

Why mention Kelly's weight? Has nothing to do with anything.
I think they only rehearsed once. I saw it on tiktok when they talked about it. I am not sure if this is a great song for duet. Kelly just wanted to sing with Teddy and made sure he is the main actor in the song. I think it's a good thing when someone is promoting their hit song, she doesn't turn it into a singing contest. That's what Kellyoke is for.

Why do you hate on teddy
No she isn't for real in any infomercial They all keep stealing her likeness. The only time she's ever talked about how she's lost weight is through a specific diet and thyroid medication. From what I understand this is mostly accredited to getting everything balanced again and the fact that she lives an much more active life
