Hey! If you’re confused about the ending, in reality she streamed it and lost. Chat then let her retry. She turned that loss into this weird parallel universe thing in the video, making the retry part of this story.

Explaining the ending
This is what happened
Jaiden streamed this live on twitch,what she reffers to as the parralel universe is what happened on her first run. She had lost all her pokemon that werent weak to fire,and she gave up,beacuse she was at a extreme type disatvantage against Flint. Chat let her retry. What we see as the normal universe is her second try,when she won. She thinks she doesnt deserve it beacuse of the fact that she got a second try.
She animated the parralel universe thing by making Giratina split her in half inside the distortion world . The half of her that fell into the void is the part that lost on her first try.
The snippets we see of the "parallel universe" are showing how her pokemon died on her first run.
She was really devastated,and sad so you can see she animated that at the end when it shows her sitting next to all her dead pokemon.

But her Crobat, Jolteon and Onix is not dead though. She puts them in the storage before facing the elite 4..
@@cobaltssfans she lost her Pokémon in the Elite 4. She had no chance to go to the PC and switch out. The only way would be to lose everyone in her party, which would mean she lost the nozlock.

@@ninetailedfairy7800 If the team you take in to the Elite Four wipe, but you still have Pokemon left in the PC than you haven't lost. You can try again with a new team. It's just very time consuming.

Honestly, the parts where she "glitched" and "glimpsed into a parallel world" were genuinely scary and unsettling. Jaiden is a master at storytelling and animation.
Another thing is Dwayne is commonly referred to as Dwayne "the Rock" Johnson from his wrestling days I believe and Onix is rock type.

Abomasnow is a mix of Abominable and snow. Because Abomasnow is named after the abominable snowman and is also a tree covered in snow. Hope this helps you understand the origin ^w^

Jaiden being hard on herself about the Elite Four (especially given her bad luck with crits) always reminds me of the Star Trek quote “It is possible to commit not errors and still fail, that is not weakness that is life”
Apparently She originally Failed the Elite Four,
But her chat told her it was okay to retry, but she also insisted that She would not count it as a win.
And for this video she portrayed it as Timelines twisting and Fatalistic things.

Jaiden lost against the elite 4 the first time. I believe her Togekiss from the first one, the Garchomp and Quagsire in the second room, and the rest of her Pokémon were weak to fire. She asked the stream chat if she could restart it and they said yes but she felt guilty, hence the ripping apart in the distortion world.

In case no one told you, yes, she DID name Onix after Dwayne Johnson because her chat told her to. Because Onix is a rock and Dwayne Johnson's nickname is "The Rock." Lol
I gotta say, watching your review of this was one of my favorites. I've watched so many other people react to Jaiden's Platinum Nuzlocke, and so many of them negatively critiqued her and were being mean about it, but you were so wholesome and nice the whole time. It was refreshing, and it made me smile.
I also enjoyed seeing your take on this because of your nationality. I really enjoyed how you gave the Japanese names for the Pokemon, and how you gave a history of the Fire Blast symbol. That festival sounded really cool. Your explanations and behavior were so sweet, and I loved this review. Thank you, sir. *bows*

To summarize how Jaiden's first attempt at the E4 went, her Togekiss was killed when Aaron's Heracross Stone Edged it. Then, Bertha's Rhyperior crushed her Garchomp and Quagsire. By the time she made it to Flint, her remaining Pokemon were all weak to fire, so we all know how that turned out. On her second attempt by the blessing of her chat fans, she just wanted to make it to Cynthia and get beaten by her. She wasn't expecting to win and kind of felt like she cheated even though her second attempt was permitted. I recommend you check out her first Pokemon themed animation titled "The best pokemon game you never played".

I just realized. Again, the "named after food" rumor happened again in Jaiden's nuzlocke. Jaiden's garchomp or "Flakes" whether intentional or not is named after a food, and look at that! Flakes survived all the way to the end and defeated Cynthia's Garchomp! Even Jaiden's Jolteon too or "Milk". Although Milk did not fought the elite 4 with Jaiden, Milk still managed to survive all the way to the last gym and survived a lot of near-death experienceas like fighting Golbat (when milk was poisoned and confused he almost died but he survived) and fighting Gyarados (when Milk had a high chance of missing thunder and had a high chance of dieng by an earthquake, he didn't missed and survived). So the rumor is true I suppose.
This man and Mashahiro Sakurai(the creator of the Super Smash Bros. series) are the most wholesome men in all of Japan
To anyone who doesn't know she actually failed her first bullocks at the elite four but fans wanted her to redo the elite four but she got REALLY creative with it and put it together for giratina
I didnt catch it when i first watched her video, but i believe the distortion realm is a reference to her, "failed" attempt but instead of restarting the nuzlock she just loaded up a savefile. Using the distortion realm as a cause that split reality is absolutely genius but i think thats why at the end she said she didnt deserve it because she actually got wiped and didnt do a complete reset

Hi, i have the answers to all the questions.
Aabomasnow: his name derives from the legend of the abominable snowman. If you're familiar with Big Foot, it's basically the snow terrain version of that.
I personally find it great to see that Gym Leader using both that legend's pokemon, along with Froslass, who is modeled after the yuki-onna.
Dwayne: in America, that actor is known as Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. The joke is that he's Dwayne because he's made of Rocks.
Similarly, it appears that Ralts is named after Danny Devito, who is known for being short. His height is 4'10.
Jaiden split in two: Jaiden did the pokemon run live on Twitch. When she reached the Elite 4, two of her Pokemon were killed by Bertha's Rhyperior. (I believe Colgate and Oops.)
Following that, Scizor, Turt, and Magnezone were killed by Flint's fire typing, having no one to hide behind.
This caused Jaiden to lose the run, being left with only one Pokemon. The audience urged her to try the Elite 4 again, to see if she could have won without the crits... and she did, but struggled to accept that ending for herself.
She explained this via storytelling through two split Jaiden timelines.

I find it amusing to see reaction channels get bamboozled during Giratina, then brush it off as the story progresses to Sunnyshore, then get more confused at the E4, not remembering the events of but a few minutes prior, then brush it off as Lucian’s battle is shown, then get completely confused again as the ending plays.
11:15 Regarding Yukinooh, Abomasnow comes from the words "Abominable" and "snow." This is referring to the "abominable snowman" or "yeti" in western culture.

I know some people explained it already. but she animated that way because she needed a way to do her put her “lost” in the video so she did it with glitches and flashbacks. Which is pretty smart and cool in my opinion.
Have you considered checking out pokemon names in other languages? Its really fun sometimes! like my friend in Korea told me that Bulbasaur's name translates to "Weirdo" there. Also Abomasnow is from the name Abominable Snowman, if Im not mistaken
Bulbasaur in the Japanese games is Fushigidane, meaning "strange seed". Meowth is Nyansu, Nyan being the Japanese equivalent to "Meow" and Su being used in place of th, so when that name was localized, they apparently went for a literal translation. Charizard was Lizardon, which I think was "Lizard King", but I'm going off of memory and I'm not 100% certain on the translation for this one.

To explain the ending, Jaiden technically lost the Nuzlocke on the Elite Four, not due to anything she did, her Togekiss got crit by Stone Edge in the first battle, along with Flakes and Oops getting killed in the second, I'm pretty sure those were also crits. Which left her with three Pokemon, but those three Pokemon were weak to the next battle, which used only fire types. So the chat let her soft reset to try again, but it wasn't her win, if that makes any sense.

I think that some people have lots of different favorite Pokemon, as time goes on. When I was younger, I enjoyed the Legendary Pokemon since they were so cool and strong. Nowadays, I'd want to catch them, so they'd feel less lonely. And some real personal favorites included Porygon, Rhyperior, Kingdra, Aggron, Flygon and even Spiritomb. I can also enjoy plenty of Pokemon getting nice new forms and evolutions, mostly for the sake of dignity.
I don’t know if you’ll see this but, “Abomasnow” is a play on the “Abominable snowman” which is a folklore legend, it’s like a Yeti, hope this helps!!

Jaiden gave up right before she fought Flint and thus lost the nuzlocke. However, she was streaming the nuzlocke on Twitch, so she restarted the Elite Four and Champion fight after asking what her chat wanted. Jaiden explained that she was 'split in two', meaning she failed and succeeded, but it wasn't an honest win. The flashes before she meets each Elite Four member in the video are what really happened at that point before she restarted.

Yukinooh's English name is Abomasnow, a combination of abominable and snowman, which a Yeti is often called an Abominable Snowman, and Abomasnow kinda looks like one, hence the name.
About the name Abomasnow, it's a portmanteau (basically a mashing of words together) of abominable snowman also known as a yeti, or from what I can tell in Japanese 雪男とイエティ.
