I remember that short golden age of BDSP speedruning where for like a whole week, everyday I woke up, there'd be a brand new menu glitch method and I gotta say. It was epic

scarlet violet memory leaking is actually crazy tho over half a year later it still crashes after long enough ~20 hours without restarting
And after all that, Weed Cat swooped in and stole 7 world records in 24 hours.
Its funny how it took so many years, but BLJ is now official since Super Mario 64 on the N64 (and you cant do it on the 3D all stars version because of that version being the "Shindou" version which patched that)
just watch the next Sc/Vi patch remove these tricks while ignoring the actual issues with the game's performance

I remember accidentally discovering that backwards hill jump tech day 1 or 2 of the game’s launch and i found myself enjoying the game much more
i hate trying to go somewhere just for the terrain to force me in every other direction possible
Xenoblade has this issue for me as well
the trick instantly reminded me of Mario Galaxy 1 where you could do the same thing using jumps and spins

If you get the flight power-up, you can go almost anywhere on the map in seconds with super speed using a glitch. I’m surprised it wasn’t at least mentioned here

i legit did the gyms counter clockwise really fast by falling off the edge and capturing some level 48 garchomp with my first few pokeballs. it listen to me enough to beat the 8 th gym leader and i swept the rest

How the hell do you get a scrappy flamingo that early?
Flamigo appears super early on - you can even find it before you get to the school! And Scrappy is _not_ a Hidden Ability, so you basically just have to win a coin flip between it and Tangled Feet.

Scrappy makes you immune to Intimidate now?? What???
They added it in gen 9
@@Joker-fq6yx But why? Such a strange buff to an established ability, seems almost arbitrary. Not really complaining but it's really unusual to do that, isn't it?
@@Fungo4 They actually did it with a handful of abilites, namely Oblivious, Own Tempo, Inner Focus, and Scrappy.

@@Fungo4They buffed/nerfed many abilities over the last 3 gens. It usually depends on how good a Pokemon is with a ability. And there were many changes.
Dark types are immune to Prankster, due to Prankster Thundurus electric types became immune to Thunder Wave, all terrains got weakened because of the tapus, Gale Wings only has priority at max health, some abilities got Intimidate immunity to weaken Intimidate usage, Zacian/Zamazenta/Regieleki abilities got weakened, Protean/Libero got nerfed and a huge amount of other abilities.

Idk why but I always here people talkin about the game lagging, anf in many videos I've seen, it was true. But in my case, the game has never lagged for me in my 200 hours of playtime, idk why though
Were you playing in handheld mode? Handheld mode barely lags at all.
@@PulseEffects No, I'm playing on tv, maybe it's because I play on physical copy?
Some people have more lag - handheld mode and physical have the lowest lag
But some combinations have up to 1/8 of the time lost due to lag, someone can record 8 hours of footage or stream that long, yet the in game counter says 7 hours, meaning a full hour has been lost! Which is.. too much for any game, yet alone a mainline pokemon game

Nice and interesting video but I gotta admit that hearing : "Pokemon scarlet and violet have an incredible and long detailed story to them" made me laugh. I mean come on, the story holds on a piece of paper and written by a kid.
Well it is incredible for Pokemon standards. Also I think a lot of people liked the stories better since technically they are separate and don't interrupt the story pacing in other games.
