To be fair the shotgun was just like that.
Mafia was way ahead of it's time. I remember it even had a simulated manual transmission and clutch for the cars, you could bind a button for the clutch. Not even racing games had this back in 2002.
I first played it last year and its one of my favourite games of all time, aged really really well, less jank than the early gta games. The cars in general in the game are really realistic, sucks they made them all faster in the remake because people complained. Also if you ever play it again, use an ultra wide monitor, its supported and amazing
@@pimpatterson I played it all the time when it got released. I remember I tried to wreck the cars as much as possible without dying. I kept driving off of the cliff next to that big bridge on the countryside. I also had the PS2 version but a lot of content is cut from that version, like you only have access to city small in free ride and it doesn't have free ride extreme but it had an amazing racing tournament with tracks made for this mode. I believe that mode got ported to PC as a mod. If you haven't tried that one I highly recommend it.
Even had a wheel support (which most people who are fans of the game should know about)
This game basically doubles as a car collector sim thanks to that.
Peak mafia gameplay
Obe of my favorite games of all time! Remake of the first game introduced me to it and i fell in love
The remake is garbage
The shotguns in this game are so 😊
You could change gears in the game
