Thank you so much!! I just wrote a book and I would like to spread more light, so I am deciding to make these exact candles!!! Thank you so much for your help.. I'll be ordering very soon.
I am in love with all of your products. I find myself purchasing every two weeks from your company. But can you make a Video on room sprays please, my oils never seem to blend correctly.
I know you said placing the crystals is kind of like a creative process… Which sounds really fun! But does it matter how close you place them to the wick? Do those burning crystal candles need to be aware once a crystal candle is lit? I love all your videos… Super informative… Thank you for sharing all this!
Love the theme reminds me of my blessed candles. Thank you guys for the all the videos. I started using fresh flower petals can I use the same method or place them in while I pour ?
Hiya, Can I ask.. when the candle is burning and starts creating the meltpool, would the cystals start to float around in the jar? Sorry if its a silly question but I'm new to candle making and was interested in making crystal candles. Thank you 😊
hello The Wooden Wick Co. How are you? Does the any kind of heat gun burn the fragrance in the candle becuase i have lots of the whole in and frost in my candles?
Not typically! But make sure you don't put them too close to where they could potentially fall on the wick :) It's always best to burn test to be sure!
Could you just add the crystals in when the candle is almost set? Instead of setting the candle and then melting it again??? Is that not double handling or is there an actual reason for doing it this way?? Thanks in advance 🥰
Hi there! You're going to want to wait until your candle is completely cured before using a heat gun to place your crystals. Curing time can really vary, we suggest about 3 days!
Hi Layla! Because the wax melts, the crystals will fall into the melted wax due to their weight. Yes this is normal. Using crystals on top is a great decorative selling point but once melted, they will fall. You can then retrieve them once the candle has burned all the way down.
Everyone does it a little differently and there are so many untapped markets! Don't compare yourself to others in the industry :) There are plenty of people who want to buy YOUR unique products!
Love all your videos!! i´m from México and now i wanna make my own candle bussiness because of you!!!!!
Suerte 😊❤️

Hi there! Generally it's best to place them at the outer edges of the candle so they don't fall onto the wick and extinguish the candle!
Great video and explanation. Thank you :)
Glad it was helpful! Enjoy and happy making!

We don't suggest using florals since they can catch on fire! :)
I made this mistake and ruined a beautiful candle, I burned my flowers.
Hiya,
Can I ask.. when the candle is burning and starts creating the meltpool, would the cystals start to float around in the jar? Sorry if its a silly question but I'm new to candle making and was interested in making crystal candles.
Thank you 😊
Hi! :) Nope! Although they don't weigh much, the weight will keep them from floating to the top of your candle.
hello The Wooden Wick Co. How are you? Does the any kind of heat gun burn the fragrance in the candle becuase i have lots of the whole in and frost in my candles?
Hi! In your experience does the candle require a bigger size of wood wick if it has stones around it? Thanks!
Not typically! But make sure you don't put them too close to where they could potentially fall on the wick :) It's always best to burn test to be sure!
@@makesyofficial Thank you! I sure will test!
Do the crystals burn or melt? Thank you for the idea and video.
No they do not! :)
Hello, newbie candle maker here! Have you tried putting beads on your candles
Not yet!
Would the crystals be considered hazardous?
As long as you do not choose anything flammable, no!
Could you just add the crystals in when the candle is almost set? Instead of setting the candle and then melting it again??? Is that not double handling or is there an actual reason for doing it this way??
Thanks in advance 🥰
You can add the crystals when the candle is close to setting too :)
is it safe to burn the candle with the crystals on top?
Hello! Yes, it is :)
Woodprix is full of amazing tips. It helped me a lot.
Great to hear! Glad it helped!
I'm pretty sure you can still buy plans with all the details you need on Woodprix.
Can I add the crystals inside the wax instead on top?
Hello! We suggest adding it on top ;)
Yes, you can
can you add botanicals to candles? are they safe in the hot wax/near the open flame?
No! We don't suggest adding anything flammable :) No botanicals ❤️
Can the chips stay on the candle without catching on fire?
Yes :) The chips will not melt or catch fire.
do the crystals burn or is the smell different?
Do you offer these in bulk or bigger bags for those who wish to start their own candle business?
We don't currently offer bulk bags but we will look at adding bigger size options!!
Does the same concept work for adding seashells to candles?
Hello! Yes, the same concept would apply to add seashells to your candle :)
@@makesyofficial thank you 🙏🏻😊
Where do you buy crystal are they heat proof?
Hi Ana! You can buy them here woodenwick.com/
Simply type "mini chips" into the search bar :)
Thank you 😀
Hi! Should I wait for 24 hrs before I place the crystals?

@@makesyofficial thank you so much!
I made one and when I lit the candle the crystals fell to the bottom…is that supposed to happen?
Hi Layla! Because the wax melts, the crystals will fall into the melted wax due to their weight. Yes this is normal. Using crystals on top is a great decorative selling point but once melted, they will fall. You can then retrieve them once the candle has burned all the way down.
How do the crystals stay charged for the customers?
The chips sit on the top of the wax and can be exposed to sunlight.
How does heat gun help sweating?
It helps the wax remelt so that the oil can solidify with your wax! You can also dab it with a towel to remove any sweating. :)
Hello can i use fake crystals instead of real ones?
We would not recommend using plastic or polymer pieces in your candles.
Are these actual gemstones?
Yes, these are actual crystals :)
Lol…uses crystals to make them cute and fun, good to know I’m already not copying all the white hippie moms 😂
