I do cure my soaps 4-6 weeks, it makes for a much better lather and sudds and it will last me so much longer than the 48 hour 2-3weeks soaps. That's just me. I do have ph testers and will say otherwise too. The ph is to high on 1 week old soaps.....

Flashpoint has nothing to do with at what temp to add the fragrance to the wax. Flashpoint is the minimum temperature at which a liquid forms a vapor above its surface in sufficient concentration that it can be ignited. Many fragrance flashpoints are well below the temperature at which the wax is able to receive and incorporate the fragrance.

If I use 50/50 lye solution and start using it before 4-6 weeks cure time, will the bar last as much as in the later case?

In this video you mention using 8oz of distilled water. Your recipe link mentions 7oz. Which is correct? Also, what if I am using FO from another company? You don't have as large of a selection for FO so I buy other scents form other companies. I've used this recipe to a T (aside from the FO) being different and each time my soap comes out too hard and crumbles into pieces when I cut. I've tried it at 22hrs and 18hrs. I'm very confused. Can FO affect it that much!? Or am I missing something else here?

In the past I was using the polysoborate and perserative and distilled water but I recently purchased the witch hazel from Makesy so is it really that simple and easy and do I have to use the entire bottle or is that just for me to make 4 containers. Several meaning? I’ve heard 14-days before burning. I use 464 soy wax . How long should I cure. You said several days but would like a more definite answer. So many suppliers say different things. My hot throw is not good so that why I’m asking
