I love him.He plays extraordinarily the cardinal! I love his character,and the way he plays it! stunning! and I love his provocative voice!

His role in "Local Hero" at the beginning of his career was one of the best "small part" performances I've ever seen. Pretty amazing that 30 years later, he becomes the Doctor and Richelieu in the same year.
Tarted up in leather...that's how I like my Capaldi.
Seeing him here as the antagonist with moustache and goatee makes me almost want him to play the Master as well as the Doctor, he'd be incredible in both roles.
