I’ve been trading futures now for going on two years of my almost 5 year trading journey and I can tell you I started out trading options. I never traded Forex. But after discovering futures, I can tell you I don’t need to trade anything else
Been the exact opposite for me. Been profitable with forex and at the moment i just analyze futures and it works similar. I just dont have the motivation to learn about about something new when it took me years just to get forex down. If its not broke dont try to fix it so I'll keep it going with whats working. YM is US30 ..NQ is nasdaq/US100, ES is SPX.. or type in whatever you trade and pick the one with a upcoming month of this year ..a emini contract is like a standard lot , micro emini is is like a mini or micro lot… a tick is the same as a pip ..everything else is exactly same but better ..now you can trade futures
I remember when I went from options to futures it was the best thing ever however I’m still not consistent( 3 1/2yrs) in but it’s all me I make the money and then give it back but there’s no doubt in my mind that I will be great!!! For me the best thing about AMP is that if you have a problem, you can actually call and get a real human being that is here in the U.S. That is very important for me personally. Alot of brokers or most businesses in general these days only have chat bots or you have to email them and wait days and days for an answer. That customer service factor is huge IMO.
I just started to learn trading last year and when I first saw how gold moves, I fell in love. I told my then BF that I was going to become the master of Gold trading. I'm still learning but yeah, it was love at first sight and I haven't changed my mind. LOL
Just FYI tho if you close your trades with a limit order instead of hitting the "X" button you'll get a better price on the exit. When you cancel a trade by just closing the trade it closes you out with a market order and you always get the worse price on your exit.
Yes but it has to go above your TP line in order to be taken out with spread. So it’s the same thing, just a better price lol it’s might touch your line and not take you out on TP. SL is the opposite

9:15 Spread is the difference between the bid and ask price of an instrument. And that’s cause of the liquidity of the liquidity pool and most forex brokers use their own offshore ones that are OTC (over the counter) which goes back into what you were saying earlier in the video about the manipulation/price difference of FX broker charts. “Paying” the broker would be commissions and fees. Futures has a centralized and regulated LP which is why there is no manipulation and no spreads
You gotta get creative with it , it’s no hedging but you can trade opposite directions on micros and emini of the same instrument , you can’t swing trade on any props but you can on live
I have been struggling to trade currencies for a couple years now. Switched to us100 a few weeks ago and instantly became profitable haha. Still trading CFDs, not futures but I have done indices to be so much simpler than currencies

I started with binary options back in the day, then I saw it was a scam. I was going to Forex but got sidetracked to Futures. I did try a practice account with Forex and the slippage was terrible. I just followed the guy I was followed in Binary Options to Futures and never went down the Forex road.
I've been trading futures 2 months now but my only issue is that payouts with apex trader takes FOREVER, so if you want to get faster payout you have to have multiple account you cannot have 1 futures account unless your trading your own money. I requested my payout with apex trader on July 15th and I'm still waiting for it to come out of pending
Top step, my funded futures, and takeprofit are wayyyy better than apex. Takeprofit u can withdraw EVERY single day. Topstep u can withdraw EVERY single day after 30 days of profitable trading.

I’ve trade futures for one week and it’s still not better than forex. It does have no spread, yet you got to manually close out your trades before market close or else you’ll loose your account
That's wrong the only people who have to close their trades are those who don't have the margin requirements(varies depending on broker 2k to hold ) so you can hold trades for however long as long as you meet overnight margin requirements

Trading XAUUSD is exactly the same as trading GC1 as the underlying asset the variables matter if your a scalper not swing trading The only reason people switched over is because futures is not banned in the USA why? Because they cant see your COT data on CFD products
I wouldn’t trust someone that’s putting out bad info. Taking advantage of people that don’t know. If reputable prop firms aren’t accepting US traders, that’s not a “rash” decision to trade something else. When one thing doesn’t work out in life, what do you do? You find an alternate way to accomplish your goal. That’s not rash. So, be careful listening to this guy.
I invested in those futures prop firms when the whole MT5 debacle was going on. Spent a couple hundred to realize I like the way futures move; like you said it goes 1 tick up you're immediately green but I just love Forex too much. Sucks that these forex prop firms all seem to be slowly disappearing akin to every penny stock being delisted slowly lol. I know these forex prop firms don't seem to be sustainable long term and futures probably will entirely take over the space but until then I'm goin to stick it out with forex.

I’m done with Forex for all the reasons you said. Too much manipulation and outright theft between both the brokers and prop firms. TopStep is way better than any forex prop firm.

For futures broker, I use AMP futures. I like their pricing per contract. 1 contract of MNQ is like $100.
For me the best thing about AMP is that if you have a problem, you can actually call and get a real human being that is here in the U.S. That is very important for me personally. There’s no swing trading, you can’t modify an entry you just don’t have as much control.

That's easily remedied by having enough money in your account to cover the overnight balance requirement.

I like futures. But I absolutely love my forex pairs.
Currency pairs are also available in futures! Only the pairs with USD though. 6E = Eur USD, 6J = USDJPY. And so on.
