Such a marvelous tribute to the Jeep CJ. Your folksy narration with fun filled facts made for an enjoyable video. Loved it start to finish. Professional photography and narration. L265
Great video! a very relaxed enjoyable ride in the woods. The Jeeps are so small it almost the same as driving a UTV except much cooler. I own lots of military trucks but have never owned a Jeep, and I have no excuse!
Fantastic video - just got a ‘49 CJ3a back on the road after a long garage slumber - just a ton of personality and fun in these small packages for sure.
@@FJAdventurer - some mild off road and weekend duties at the family cabin running errands, etc. There’s a general store about 40 minutes away that makes for a great drive along back roads in the summer or to enjoy the fall leaves. Grab an ice cream and a case of beer and head back. Love it. Question- is that roll bar custom or do the dimensions match off the shelf units. Really should get one.
I have a 1949 cj3a, and the roll bar that was in it was from an early amc cj5. The amc sticker was still on it. The way to tell the older roll bars is that the rear bars go to the top (horizontal position) of the main bar. In the late 70s, cj5 rear bars go to the vertical portion of the main bar. I took it out because it just looked too high over the front seat. I was going to cut it down lower, but with all of that modification, it is easier to bend a new set to your desired size.
Ha! You nailed it. It’s a young channel and I’m still finding my niche. Narration in this video was inspired by a childhood hero, Dick Proenneke. Anyways, I have since moved on from that voice 😂 Thanks for watching.

Thanks for the kind words. It was a pleasure to play, film and edit! These old Willys are legendary wheelers.
@@FJAdventurer I used to off-road back in Colorado with a guy who had a WW ll one. It was awesome!
Your production was top notch!
Great high performance jeep~♪
Oh yeah! 15 rear wheel horsepower!!

It’s never to late to own a Jeep! However, the longer you put it off, the more expensive they get 😳
Thanks for watching!
nice that's so sweet willys , i love the fj40 landcruiser too
Yeah - I'm pretty fond of them as well ;) I sub'd to your page. Looks like you have a similar passion.

They truly are special. Are you using yours for a trail rig or pavement cruiser?

@@motorv8N - The roll bar is not original. In fact, I don’t think roll bars were an option for CJ#a’s but I could be wrong.
@@FJAdventurer - none came standard. Just wondering if I looked up something more modern like a CJ 5 etc that would fit.

Tahuya ORV park in Tahuya, WA. The video covers several different trails in the park.
@@FJAdventurer looks like a fun trail. Thought maybe it was Idaho but had to ask to be sure

Nice location, nice rig, and thabks for telling us about the lockers.
The narrator sounds like a young guy trying his best to sound like he is 80 years old. Good video except for that.
