    Finally found someone who fishes leasows, I've baited this pool so many times and never fished it

    I brought my brother and my dad these bait boats each there actually quite good. The only problem they had was the plastic bucket cracked and broke along where the bolts are fitted to the bucket not long after getting them and using maybe 10 times max. you are able to get replacements and easy enough to replace I think the replacement bucket was £15 each. Apart from that they are worth there money and good fun

    My daughter bought me one of these for Christmas 2022 used it a couple of times and it stopped working. So I bought another while the first one was was being looked at by a friend who's into remote rcs and it was the toggle switch had stopped working. I replaced the toggle switch with a push button switch and works great. The second one got water in it because the rubber bung at the front came out and I didn't notice. I dried it out and there was still a problem so I checkd the switch and it wasn't working again. So replaced it with a push button and it's fine. So if anybody has problems with theirs just test the toggle switch before they give up. And I bought a spare battery from a Chinese site for less than a 10er and it work well.

      Thanks for the advice mate, hopefully will help a few people 😊 luckily mines worked well so far but I can see how they could be temperamental.

    can you plug a second battery in the boat?

    • @tommycarping
      @tommycarping  Před 7 měsíci

      Yes mate. It has an open bit in the middle where you can put another battery. I bought one from ebay for around £10

    Any issues with rigs getting tangled?

    • @tommycarping
      @tommycarping  Před 10 měsíci +1

      No mate not had any. I always put the lead and the hook in opposite corners so the rig is kinda spaced out though. I use Semi Stiff braid as a hooklength too

      Thanks for that. I was thinking stiff rig would be better with PVA nugget. The hopper must open a lot slower when it's full?

    • @tommycarping

      It opens a tiny bit slower but its still pretty fast, probably 80% of the empty speed. Stiff rig definately helps and an anti tangle sleeve at the top of your hooklink

    Is it loud mate? Seen a review where they say its really loud?

    • @tommycarping
      @tommycarping  Před 10 měsíci +1

      Not really. When its out of the water it is but when its going along in the water I don't think its loud mate

      @Dane-ep8bb No worries mate, tight lines 🎣. I'd say if youre doing a weekend session too buy a spare battery for backup. I got one from ebay for about £10

      Hi pal.
      I'm sure I used to fish this place when I lived in Quinton Birmingham many moons ago.
      Is it the Leasowes Park that's half way down Mucklow hill in halesowen?
