I'm glad I was able to see the replay with 4 video annotations blocking the entire screen.
Yeah exactly I say this on so many videos now. I don’t think they realize we can’t see the one thing we came to see
IKR
CZcams Failure.
The 3rd base coach should’ve paid more attention to the fake handoff.
That's his only job in that situation. Then again, unless the runner planned to steal home, there's zero reason to leave the bag until the pitcher is toeing the rubber. But the pitcher wasn't even on the mound. Low-upside play to leave the base.
How does this happen with all his teammates and coaches on the field plus he should have been paying attention!😂
Never-NEVER take a leadoff if the pitcher isn't standing on the rubber !
In college, you don’t even need that. It’s just the dirt circle of the mound. You only have to wait for that … and still the runner couldn’t remain disciplined… and 3rd base coach did what 3rd base coaches do: merely watch and offer no real coaching
effing next vids screens come up to play for the best view at the end. what a joke.
For all the people complaining about teams doing this trick, who cares people are out there to have fun and why not throw a trick play in. That 3rd base coach should have seen it and he should not be leading off if the pitcher isn’t even on the rubber.
Actually there was no handoff. It was a fake handoff. There’s aCZcams video that shows 3rd baseman catch ball from 1st baseman near front of pitching mound. Good time to do it since pitcher was covering 3rd base on the bunt play. They then act like pitcher gets the ball when they return to their position by tapping their gloves.
I always wait to see if the pitcher is on the mound or else I ain’t moving an inch. It’s a chess game
The 4 video prompts and the quick espn cut away…give me a break, do better.
Third base Coach screwed up. Nice job!
Why is the runner of the base with the pitcher standing 10 feet away from the dirt around the mound. Players are taught to stay on the base until the pitcher is on the rubber.
Don’t ever take your lead until the pitcher is touching the rubber. If the pitcher touches the rubber as if he’s about to pitch without the ball, it’s a balk.
Under NCAA rules, the pitcher cannot be on the dirt circle without the ball.
What i notice is the first baseman needs to stretch out more that is cutting runners close and sooner you gonna get beat out
Coaches fault. One teaches every base runner to stay on base until the pitcher is seen putting his foot on the rubber on the mound !
Clever!
Train your runners to stay on the bag until the pitcher is on the mound. Duh!
fire the third base coach on the spot for not telling the runner to stay on the bag til the pitcher is on the rubber. That's just awful coaching.
Third base coach is always the baserunners' eyes. I wouldn't go so far as to fire him for a gaffe like that, but he darn well had better take responsibility and let the kid off the hook.
3rd base coach did what all 3rd base coaches do: stand there doing nothing and offering no in-game coaching. They’re just spectators with the best on-the-field seats in the house.
They should fire the third base coach. He wasn’t paying attention, obviously, which is his primary job.
Mgr. and coaches get the blame for not being aware. Third base coach is oblivious to what’s going on. God, come on.
If you have to resort to hidden ball tricks then you have no confidence in your own skill or ability. Legal but cheap.
After the sacrifice bunt, it was gonna be runners on 2nd and 3rd with 1 Out😂. Actually this is great ability/skill to pull this off. And the opportunity presented it itself because the pitcher was covering third on the bunt. Fooled the runner and base coach.
Definitely a Mickey Mouse move.
@@travisn346very unfair😮
@@dinog3052 oh, it's totally fair...but definitely a gimmick
The hidden ball trick is easily defeated if the runners are paying attention. The defense should take advantage when the runners are so clueless.
Straight out of the bush leagues. Save that for the 6 year olds, Total busher, then the dude pounds his chest. wow what a clown.
Like the announcer said beautiful baseball on the sacrifice bunt moving the runners. 😂
This is how you defend that well executed Sac Bunt you add the hidden-ball-trick 😂
such a weak move...we did this is sandlot once...
Part of me thinks thats chicken shit especially if it’s against my team.
Not at all. It's baseball. Simply wait to take a lead until the pitcher toes the rubber. Kudos to Clemson for pulling it off.
Busch league.
2nd and 3rd with 1 OUT Becomes 2 OUTS bc foolish runner takes a lead off 3rd when the pitcher is not on the mound or rubber. 😢
Can’t even spell bush? Seriously?
Hidden ball tricks are so little league. It just yells out, "We aren't good enough to get this guy out unless we do something juvenile."
I never understand this point of view it makes no sense. It's part of the game and almost never happens because its so hard to execute and punishes unawareness
Now the infield Defense can play normal depth with 2 OUTS. 😂 Outfield don’t have to worry about throwing home on Sac Fly😂
Typical Clemson and it's lame and bush league 🤦🏻♂️
No that was a planned strategy and the Coastal player violated one of the most important base runner rules; you don’t step off the bag to take a lead until the pitcher touches rubber.
Gotta use your head.
So what do you think? Fines? Suspensions? Lifetime ban from organized baseball?
Clemson on top
It's not lame when MLB players do it. And if it's so lame, why did you watch it? That's a rhetorical question.
Typical coot.
