  • In this episode of Mornings with Mel, Melissa Faisst reminds us that when we seek first God's Kingdom and His Righteousness, He WILL take care of us!
Oftentimes we have fears and worries that what we need won't be taken care of. We look at what others have and compare, believing the lie that God takes care of others but not us. But if we put Him first, we can trust that He will provide all we need.
So if you are overcome with the worries of this life and need to be reminded that God is Provider, then this episode is for you!

Our needs are food, shelter and clothing. If you have that there isn't anymore that we actually need. People go in debt because of their wants and bring trouble on themselves. If we can be content with the basics then we've already won.

    John 15:7
If ye abide in me, and my words abide in you, ye shall ask what ye will, and it shall be done unto you.

Thank you for your words of encouragement. I TRUST YOU LORD! Faith is trusting in God durning hard times. Faith is what is getting me through my hard situation. I’m still struggling to providing for my two autistic children since losing my job over declining the vaccine. I declined due to my pre existing health condition (Lupus) and Heart disease. I was denied my medical/religious exemption from Forsyth Hospital. My husband passed away three years ago, so I’m all alone. Both of my sons are non verbal so things are more hard on me. Every month I don’t know how we are going to make it through. Every month is a struggle, a battle to not end up on the streets. I’m so depressed and embarrassed by my situation. I’ve been put down and mocked over my circumstances. I’m so ashamed and overwhelmed. BUT because of my faith God shows up every month and provides. Even as I face homelessness with two young children. I know that God will provide abundantly. Thank you Jesus.

Facts 💯 Facts 💯 and more Facts 💯
Almighty God allowed me to be stripped of ALL my financial resources (among other things) despite humbly thanking Him for them (and all He has blessed me with); despite me donating anonymously directly to a lesser known organization, without seeking a tax benefit; and leaving me with only Him as my Source and those He has been using to bless me.
I had been completely financially independent since the age of 19 (now in my 50s). I have always been a giver (time, gifts, etc.) but never really comfortable receiving.
In my lifetime, I have been met with circumstances here and there that forced me to rely on others to help me out and it was SO uncomfortable. I repaid the debt (or did nice things) as soon as I was able because I never wanted anyone to throw it in my face or use it to "guilt" me to do something for them that I didn't feel comfortable doing.
Almighty God has been teaching me through my circumstances to trust Him that all my NEEDS will be (and have been) met in HIS perfect timing. It just hit me in this moment that He gives me what I need for the day as He gave manna to the Israelites 🤯 I am so used to keeping certain things stocked so I never run out. The Lord has TRULY stretched me in this season but I am eternally thankful to Him for doing so 🙏
My renewed thinking is "If He has not yet provided it (after I have prayed about it), I do not yet need it so be still and know that He is God. He loves me, He cares for me and will never leave me begging for bread. He knows exactly when I need, what I need."
