  • This is a follow-up video to my review of the Sightmark Mini Green Dot Reflex Sight Review Part I. This video shows the sight mounted to a Midwest Industries SKS mini dot mount. The windage and elevation adjustment screws do not work properly on this particular sight so I have decided to return it

Those sights would be better for a lower caliber. I'm sure that sks knocked it off zero as well as those windage and elevation mess ups. I had a sightmark z series on my AR-15 and that thing sucked. It fell off zero very easy. I sold it. Now I'm hesitant to buy anything else sightmark

I wonder how a Leupold DeltaPoint mounted to a Circle Ten AK SOMAK on an SKS would fare...

Can stripper clips be used with this set-up and MI mount?

You missed one step. You need to remove the switch before you can adjust the elevation and windage. just loosen the two phillips head screws on the back. Then that will expose the stop screws. Loosen them. Then you will be able to adjust the elevation and windage. Once you get it right then tighten the stop screws and check again. One thing though, the switch does not come completely free. Just let it dangle there by the wire. Kind of hookie, I know.
