I like how Titanic 2 and this film both used Queen Mary. It's now hilarious to me every time I re-watch it and catch bits of Queen Mary.

I just watched this movie, and, to be honest, at least they had a better CGI model of the Titanic than the "Titanic II" movie had. It was more detailed, and had the correct color of funnels. Yes, there were still parts where the Queen Mary was clearly seen, but at least they tried to somehow cover it up. Had the "Titanic II" movie used this model, instead of the QM and that horrible "Google Paint" model with red funnels, it would have been somehow watchable. Another thing that surprised me is that this new film actually made connections to the original Titanic, like the artifacts, "Nearer My God to Thee", the band, stopping at the sinking site to pay respect, period costumes, etc. In the "Titanic II" movie, the original ship is barely even mentioned. If we take all the Titanic-related elements from this new film, and put them in "Titanic II" (Minus the zombies part), "Titanic II" will become a much better movie.
Titanic II feels like a cash grab. Titanic 666 feels like they're somewhat respectful to the original ship or did actual research into it.
The only good thing to come out of this movie, is the fact that our beloved Lord Spammals has returned to us

I agree, if he does play any more Titanic games then it will probably be Titanic Honor and Glory. Even then there's a slim chance he'll do that, I only assume he might just because he played the trailer back in December and I doubt he would've done that if he wasn't interested in the game but we'll see.

I have seen this movie for myself, and all I can say is that it's 90 minutes of pure pig excrement. Basically, the woman in the trailer who is summoning the ghosts is supposed to be Captain Smith's great-granddaughter. And Captain Smith, being captain and all, is basically the leader of all the ghosts. He's essentially the main antagonist of this movie. He possesses his own great-granddaughter and pilots the ship right into an iceberg, because revenge. And when the Titanic III's captain tells the possessed great-granddaughter that only she can stop him, Smith slits his own great-granddaughter's throat. Or technically he slits his own throat, because he's possessing the great-granddaughter, I dunno. I really think it's appalling how they treat the victims of the Titanic as vengeful spirits, especially Captain Smith, who, as I said earlier, is basically the main antagonist. These were real people, and it's disgusting how they've been reduced to slaughter-happy ghosts.
And fun fact, the lady who plays one of those influencers made a rather infamous TikTok video where she recited a poem about how she wished she could have been Vladimir Putin's mom. So, uh... *yeah.*
What the actual hell? I applaud you for watching the movie so that I could know what it's about without having to watch it. (Thank You.) But what's so stupid is that Captain Smith doesn't even have a great-granddaughter. His grandchildren died without having any offspring, so even that little detail is wrong. And WTF... he was the dumbass that piloted the ship into the iceberg in the first place, no one else...so what exactly was he getting revenge on? The plot's stupid and abhorrent. I've seen half-ass fanfictions with more effort.
@@shadowtrooper4435 Oh yes, I know how implausible it is for Smith to have a great-granddaughter. But I'll have to respectfully disagree with you saying Smith is responsible for the sinking. Sailing full speed through an ice field, as stupid as it was, was simply common practice of the day, and I can't really fault him for that. Besides, it was Murdoch who was on duty when the collision happened, so he of all people should take the blame. Except the iceberg was sighted too late to avoid a collision, and Murdoch did the best he could under the circumstances, so you can't really blame him either. The way I see it, the blame for the Titanic disaster shouldn't be shouldered by any one person. It was simply an accident that happened due to a number of stupid decisions by multiple parties; I.E. sailing at full speed, not having enough lifeboats, not raising the bulkheads, and so on.

Now, I won't go into _too_ much detail unless you WANT me to, so for now I'll give you the TL:DR or it: It was a combination of MULTIPLE factors that led to the Titanic hitting her iceberg(multiple missed iceberg warnings, excessive speed due to a coal bunker fire(not a joke, the ship had a fire in one of its bunkers, and the only way to expose the burning coal was to shovel what was underneath into the boilers, therefore producing more steam than usual, and more engine power), lack of binoculars for the lookouts in the crow's nest(they were stuck in a locker because the keys had been left in port, and there were no spares onboard), and the nature of the ocean(calm seas + moonless night = objects in water hard to spot, even ones as big as the iceberg)). Not to mention it's not actually directly the captains' job to steer ships that size, even today. Instead, he gives orders to the crew on the bridge, and when he's not around(for example if he's gone to bed for the night), the task falls to the next in command, the First Officer(who's given similar training to the captain). So Captain Smith wasn't directly to blame. Heck, he even did everything he could to manage the evacuation of the ship, and then actually went DOWN with it! (as the tradition says. nowadays, however, the captain just has to be one of the last off the ship, mainly so they can manage the evacuation of all the passengers on board). . .welp, looks like I went into quite a bit of detail anyway. Sorry for the "essay".

Perhaps I should have worded it better, but what I meant to say was that though it is true that Smith was asleep at the time of the impact and Murdoch was in command, it was ultimately Smith that had the final say over the speed of the ship's movement. A decision he made off the influence of Bruce Ismay. So because of this, though you're quite right about not one person should be blamed, I do believe that Smith holds the bulk of the poor series of decisions made. At least that's the way I see it.
The movie is basically the ghosts of Titanic passengers sinking Titanic 3 and killing everyone onboard. That’s the disrespectful part of it, not the “Titanic horror film” part.

Titanic 3? Because the hell with Titanic 2 I guess... Does this somehow tie into the Asylum Film? And what is it with using Queen Mary as a Titanic set...it's annoying.
It's made by the same company so low budget. The queen Mary is usually used for modern ships interiors like a modern titanic. You can't expect a TV movie to make sets did you not see the CGI

That actually looked cool and cheesy at the same time. I know you moved on from Titanic and other ship content but that would be cool if there was a horror game that was played aboard the Titanic or any other ship as it sank. Trying to solve puzzles and get away from something or someone who wants to kill you as the ship sinks would be something different and thrilling. It's possible they do have a game like that but I just don't remember or I'm unaware.

i am currently watching the movie on yt to try and see if there's atlest SOME good parts in the movie. at the start it's focasing on the final moments of the original ship AND IT DOESNT EVEN SPLIT IN THE MOVIE. in other movies like a night to remember didnt show is splitting either, but at the time when that movie was made, they didnt know it had split. so movies from before 1986 didnt show the ship splitting, but now they should atlest show the ship split

Why does everyone use the queen mary as a ship because the titanic movie we all know if they made an actual ship well a fake one which is pretty cool. But when you are using a ship that is a museum just let the queen rest and also people will probably tell it’s not titanic like just let her rest because the queen Mary is already starting to struggle to stay in good condition since the owners had run out of money to restore it but hopefully it will be restored so people can see the beautiful ship
