Part two of two showing a great range of mostly military aircraft departing the day after the conclusion of the Royal International Air Tattoo. The majority of these takeoff are in order of departure and during the afternoon session. Note that not all aircraft are included.

The wing waggles are a quality way to say thanks... but the appreciation bye bye full on wing waggle from the F15 ......thats a belter 👌👍

Long, sleek and mean looking. Can’t believe this magnificent aircraft has turned 60 year old. One of the better looking fighters in the world, imo

Pilot here, great to see the F-4 Phantoms still going strong..used to love watching their overhead breaks at K-Bay..uncle flew her in Vietnam over the route packs, after one particular mission attacking the Thai Nguyen facility he counted 47 holes in his F-4D from flak damage and 2 close SA-2 detonations.. she had still brought him home...what a tough bird..
Great story and thanks for sharing. So your uncle had about 2 lives left! I'm sure he probably has more stories and close calls. What are you or were you piloting ?
@@NigelWoolleyaviation it's my pleasure to share cause your video is amazing so thanks for that. Yeah he had some incredible incidents happen..lots of stories including an early morning tangle with a Mig-21 Fishbed after the flight group flew over the north vietnamese airbase at HOA LAC 15 miles west of Hanoi lol but the Phantom came through everytime. I've flown everything from Cessnas to lears and even an OV-10 for a defense contract company, was flying in Cambodia couple years back and will be back over there in the new year flying again. Thanks for the video, was good to see her again.. great selection of aircraft you have there too.

There must be stacks of flying hours between the both of you. Safe and smooth flights whatever airspace you're in. Cheers

When you arrive at the gate at 4am you need all of those things and more! Batteries aplenty were used too. Your know your airshow spotting stuff!

My dad Flew FGR2 back in late 60`s 70`s...saw one at RAF St Athans in South Wales...best ive ever seen...he took off and went vertical...and to a dot in about 20 seconds...amazing a\c....

A real shame the BUFF was so delayed.
Would have been great to see it takeoff but no certainty that is was even going to depart at that day. Do you know if it did go on Monday?
@@NigelWoolleyaviation It did indeed, around 1700h that day. They'd kicked most/all out of P&V by then. I'd already left for LHR.

Turkish F-4 very very nice. (even if "70 years of NATO" scheme seems a little ironic, since they probably won't be for much longer.)
I was thinking the same thing, and that they were over compensating and trying to shift blame onto the US for being kicked out , almost as to say, "Hey, it isn't us who doesn't want to be part of this alliance anymore, you're forcing us to leave. We love being a part of NATO."
I'm not making a political statement here, I'm just making an observation.

Royal International Air Tattoo (or RIAT) at RAF Fairford, Gloucestershire in UK. Held every year in July. Go if you can as you won't be disappointed!

Sadly no Paris airshow for me.
You will have heard about the RAAF 100th Anniversary celebrations in 2021. The rumour going around (or mistakenly mentioned by an RAAF official!) was an October 2021 airshow at Amberberly Air Base. Time will tell if true but good to keep in mind.

Nice. Haven't been to an airshow in far too long. Great to see sone F4's still flying. They are my all time favorite jet fighter. I love the F15 too, but there is something about the F4- maybe because it's big and ugly like me 😀. And of course my favorite large plane is the B52, for the same reason. Long live the BUFF!
