- Recently I acquired Dual dagger by Shakmat. A bueatiful stereo filter in only 6 hp. It completed my ambient signal path with Rings into Dual dagger into a vca into Beads into the mixer with Sealegs in the send and return. I wanted to highlight this signal path with this video and create some ambient textures and lush arps. So enjoy the music and if you like this video please consider to like and subscribe to my channel. Thank you so much!

no, really, its absolutely breathtaking!
And thank you again for yournkind words, I really appreciate it! ♥️
beautiful! it’s obvious how much you love the music, and it comes across in the way you produced the video too. lovely, thanks for sharing
Thank you so much! I’m happy my love and passion comes through. Music is my life 🙏🏻❤️
Amazing. I’m only a few months into my modular journey and your videos are fantastic inspiration. Keep doing what you’re doing 🎉
Thank you so much! I’m so happy to hear that! I will keep going. The most wonderful thing about making music with modular synths is that you discover more and more every time. Beads was one of my first module and it still keeps suprising me and it still teaches me new things. Also the power of utility modules and modulation has become so much more aparant to me. Wishing you tons of inspiration and fun on your modular journey! 😄
Beautiful sounds. ❤
Thank you!
this is heartwarming!
Thank you! ❤️
Feeling inspired, thank you!
Ah thank you so much! That makes me happy!
Great music as always. I love your edits

Looks and sounds beautiful my friend 👌😊
Thank you so much friend!
Sounds amazing.
Thank you so much!
Awesome work!!
Thabk you so much!
Beautiful as usual. I like how u use the mute buttons on your performance mixer to build up and to finish the piece.
❤️🙏🏻🔥 yay for mute buttons and delays!
Let's go Raaf!
Yes! Go go go!
Really nice. Would have been sick to have a beat come in.
Ah thank you, and yes I agree! I did consider programming a beat on my DFAM but I ran out of channels on my mixer very quickly this patch so I left it. But your comment makes me want to add a beat now…. 😂
Beautiful patch.
I just picked up DXG last week - still trying to discover its super powers. How do you like it? When do you reach for it?
Nice job, as always - I always look forward to your new stuff.
Oh thank you so much!
I use the DXG when I want those typical decaying “plucky” sounds. I use it in this patch that way as well. I feed it with some melodic things like arps coming from Plaits. Then I put a gate trigger in the strike input (from my sequencer or from pams pro) and set the control knob somewhere between 9 and and 2 o’clock. It gives that awesome lowpassy pluck sounds. You can make it more dynamic by setting the control knob all the way clockwise and then patch an lfo or a sample and hold in the control cv input. It will filter te output slightly and intensifies and deintensifies the pluck sounds.
Another way of using it is to simply only use the control knob and filter/mix the incoming audio. Hope this helps!
Bjork spotted!
Bjork Bork!
@@Auldhelm Thanks for the correction of my typo!
Yes! Big, big inspiration 🙏🏻 hearing Hyperballad made me want to venture into creating electronic music and Homogenic made the biggest impact ever on me as a musician. To me it’s the perfect album. ❤️
@@raafmodular I used to really love her. Funny story; my college friend (who has very conventional music taste) once walked into my dorm room while Homogenic was on and thought my stereo was malfunctioning!
@@CarlsbadSGP2007 Iconic! Well if that is the sound of a malfunctioning stereo I would never want to fix it :D
about one hour too short IMO - really nice tones
Oh thank you so much! Your words are too kind 🙏🏻
