Would love to see more of these. For instance, I just bought the Gigabyte M27Q, but then afterwards found your site. I let out a big "whew" when I compared it to results for the other one I was looking at the Pixio PX277. I'm sure others would like to see more video reviews of monitors by you.

Auto sub this was the most thorough review i have ever seen and yes i just got a pg259qnr its amazing my previous monitor was a acer predator xb1 165hz but o.c too 180hz and the pg259qnr is way better the experience is to difficult to articulate into words for me bet if i had to try its like there was no monitor just the game

I have an Alienware M15 R3, which only has one DP port. What would be a way to connect two of the PG259QN monitors to my laptop, and still take advantages of all the features of this monitor? (E.g. GSync, HDR, refresh rates, etc.). Thanks in advance!

The Alienware seems to be the better deal currently. It comes standard with the Nvidia reflex latancy analyzer where there are 2 seperate asus models and the one that has the analyzer seems unavailable. I havent seen it for sale by any website. only the non analyzer model.
Anyways up until today the alienware was cheaper by 30 dollars. Now its more expensive by 30 lol. If you care abou thte analyzer get the alienware.

I have this monitor and I'm not really a fan of the "lip" at the bottom of the monitor that prevents any other display port cable other than the one that came with the monitor (mine broke) from being put into the monitor at a straight angle, I have to push it in a little diagonally and even then it doesn't really fit like it should.

I'm very curious about the "AORUS FI25F" monitor and how well it performs as a fast, FHD high refresh rate monitor. There is literally no other reviews or information out there about this monitor, outside of manufacturer specs and overviews!

Asus did me dirty with the PG259QN, only to release the reflex analyzer short after. Wish i went with the Alienware AW2521H

@@emromw No I agree with him that it was very misleading. From the moment this monitor was announced it was advertised as having the reflex analyzer. It wasn't until these monitors were actually available that we knew there were 2 different models. pg259qnR (reflex analyzer) and pg259qn standard
why the fk would you want that shit anyways, only works with certain mice and you can just look online what the best settings are for lowest latency
@@Mr.Reality It's been said before but this monitor isn't for the casual gamer. It's specifically made for professional competitive FPS players. There isn't information about every single in-game setting combo available. Different settings affect your overall game latency. Just an quick example 4x AA with high shaders vs 8xAA and low shaders there would be a difference. A new video setting may come out in a game that you are playing and you will be able to know exactly what latency that may add or reduce. I can't be bothered to wait for someone else to test every possible option combo for me
@@Godhorse6969 If ur such a ''pro'' gamer shouldnt you put everything besides view distance on the lowest possible setting anyways? like I don't see the problem lol. I got the PG259QN for only €700 and the R version is 1k, for what for this stupid thing ?
1. People will share this information
2. Games aren't gonna change that much that often (graphics wise)
3. Everything on the lowest settings = lowest latency.. 1+1=2
4. It's €300 euro cheaper.
5. I'm just telling myself i made a good purchase lol. but srsly ur fine man. 360hz ur ontop of the foodchain with this monitor.
(forgot to mention it only works with specific mice... Like this thing is just BS, and you can always do it the old way to test latency.)

The thing is, 25" is already pushing it for true 1080p, and 27" really benefits from the 1440p treatment as does it not really shine on anything much smaller.

They are similar but I think auo did some improvements on the 3.2

What do you mean by FreeSync : Compatible (Tested). I have a 6800 XT, would I be able to use FreeSync on this monitor and how? Could you clear that up for me please? Thanks a lot. (Also does the Alienware support FreeSync? Doesn't seem like it does)
It means that it's not certified by AMD to work with FreeSync, but when we tested it, it was working fine.

Even When power button is OFF for this monitor,I can see image using flashlight on the screen is this normal for this monitor?DP connectivity and cpu running..(PG259QNR)
It isn't something we encountered, but if this is an issue you continue to run into and you're concerned about, then it may be worth reaching out to the manufacturer for technical support!

Can this monitor run 1440p 120 hz on the Xbox one series x? If not is it more worth it to have this monitor with HDR 1080p and 120 hz on the Xbox seres x or go with another option that would do 1440p 120hz.
Hey Alexander! We haven't tested monitors for compatability with the new consoles, so we can't say for sure. However, we're looking to add this testing in a future methodology update so stay tuned!
@@RTINGSdotcom ok would you say that the Alienware 25 AW2521HF is basically the same exact option for the Xbox series x that this monitor is if they both do the same thing. Would there be anything about this monitor that would be an upgrade over that picture wise or would It not be worth buying this one over that one. Also I am trying to find 1440p monitor s for 25 inch gaming monitors but they seem to not exist is that true. Thanks

Asus vg279qm vs msi optix mag 251 rx 240hz monitors?
some people think 27” displays are too big for 1920x1080 resolution. asus has a 24,5” version of the same monitor maybe u should check that out
@@ulasdurakk I am temorarirly using a 240hz 27" coming from a 240hz 24.5" and I agree 27 is too big. it just isnt enough pixel density. Especially if you are playing BR games or games with a lot of details that you need to be able to see clearly. For anything bigger than 24.5" I would want at least 1440p
I have a EVGA 3090 and can't even come close to pushing 360hz in Cold War with low settings sooo.. Counter-strike only?
Doom Eternal pushes 360 fps on 3090, I am mainly eyeing this high refresh rates for older games though, like Doom and Minecraft.

i dont get it i have this monitor with (RTX 2080 - AMD ryzen 7 2700X - 32GB RAM) and still i get only 130-140 FPS even on low or Ultra, it sems like some thing is locking it from to get more FPS, can some one tell me or help me how to fix before i return the monitor back xD
Which games
Sounds like you are CPU bottlenecked. Usually if FPS doesn't change between Ultra and Low graphics settings, it means you are CPU bottlenecked.

I would like to see 720p 480hz monitor. Most competitive gamers play on low resolution and since there are no 720p monitors the picture is blurry. If ASUS or Benq trully care for esports and gamers they should make one.

I am still sad they stopped making CRT's, imagine how awesome they would be with the tech we have today if they were still designed? My 20 year old one still has a spot reserved. :)
