Thanks for making these videos. My old Klein CL2000 has been a great meter. It was manufactured for Klein by UEI. I had to stop using it at work because it was only CAT III, so it is my "around the house" meter now. It's no Fluke, but it is about 10 years old and has been good to me, especially for the money. I have no idea who manufacturers the current line of Klein meters, though. It may be more than one company like it was in the past.
Another video excellent! I like Klein Meters for the money they provide a good value. I have been using a Klein CL800 at my job. It's a nice meter that does everything I need it to. Well except automatically store data like a Fluke. The CL220 looks like a good residential electrician or Service Tech meter. checking a HVAC unit or an appliance this would be a perfect meter for that. Also check out the Fluke 302+. Only 75.00 which is a steal for a basic clamp meter from Fluke.

I have a cl440, mm-2000, cl-390 that I remember off hand 🎉 but have a few other Klein meters mostly hvacr types. Good meters for the money spent my cl-440 reads inrush current to the t for me and capacitors plus the normal stuff you would expect the meters to read
Klein tools makes good meters. I have 3 clamp and a box meter from them and they work awesome. And work as good fluke but not the fluke price (to me).they make uei multimeters good competition for the money spent and have trms as most of the uei multimeters do.
KLEIN testers are a real bargain for the price and I agree in some cases they can compare with the FLUKE. But the comparison is very limited. That's just my opinion. Thanks for watching and posting.

I know when KLEIN meters first were introduced to the market their meters were MASTECH rebrands. Then they were UEI rebrands, nowadays who knows.

I agree KLEIN meters are great for the money, but if I had to choose between the IDEAL and KLEIN meters I'll choose IDEAL.

The only issue with this meter is that it doesn't do DC amps. What would you suggest for a DC ammeter? A CL390? (for solar panels...)
FLUKE have a new meter out that’s a dedicated meter for solar panels. Megger has a solar panel meter out also

I just went ahead and got the CL390 for $50 Brand new unopened from Marketplace. Need it to test Solar Equipment.

@@TheElectriciansToolChannel Unfortunrately, I just found out today that it is a dud. Nothing on the Amps side reads at all. Either on AC or DC. 😟
