- Watch my bus journey from Shirdi to Bangalore by Humsafar Travels' BharatBenz AC Sleeper bus with toilet. Only bus on this route with Toilet facility. It becomes very convenient for passengers on this long route. The bus journey is of approximately 19 - 20 hours, 1050 kms approximately, so the inbuilt toilet saves time on loo breaks and is also convenient for ladies traveling. The toilet is for urinal purposes only. Firstly, the bus interiors are really comfy. Humsafar Travels provides a list of amenities like Wifi, dual charging points, blankets, water bottle etc. The AC was strong throughout the journey to help from the heat. Humsafar Travels have some really well-maintained buses and their livery is very eye-catching as well. This BharatBenz bus is a BS6 bus built by Prakash. The bus is not speed locked which helps to cover the distance. The inbuilt toilet is actually quite big, i.e. the first row of the berth is taken up by the toilet itself. Initially our bus was to start from Shirdi, however, it had some tire issue. Hence, a replacement bus was sent to drop us till Aurangabad. The BharatBenz bus waiting for us in Aurangabad. The replacement bus was also an AC sleeper bus.
The bus goes via the Samruddhi Mahamarg route also called Nagpur - Mumbai Expressway. Hence, you get to see the beautiful new Expressway on the way. This bus starts its journey from Shirdi at 2:30 pm and is scheduled to reach Anand Rao Circle by 9:30 am. Both the drivers were very friendly & co-operative. Sachin bhai supported me in any way he could. The bus was maintaining good speed throughout the journey. We overtook many buses along the way.
Moreover, our bus would have reached Bangalore one hour before time. However, one of the passengers had used the toilet for pooping. So we had to halt & get the toilet cleaned. It is clearly written that the toilet is for urinal purposes only & a fine of Rs. 2000 would be charged otherwise.
The bus journey was really comfortable, I liked BharatBenz buses for their suspension and ride quality. The journey was made more comfortable thanks to the toilet on board. I will choose these Bharat Benz Prakash Capella MG Leeraz over Volvo Prakash Celeste :) Did these Capella trips in Swamy Ayyappa's Hyderabad-Coimbatore/Thanjavur. And many Bharat Benz trips with multiple operators & one Leeraz Hyderabad-Bangalore(SLC Roadlines)
