  • Surron light bee how to change your primary drive belt, the belt is a quality German brand continental, but if it gets a lot of debris inside ie heavy sand use or went mud it can cause a snapped belt. In extreme use we recommend an upgrade to the primary chain and sprocket kit costs around £100 , noiser than the belt but will cope with extreme use better and pro riders see www.sur-ronbikes.com for new belts and upgrade kit, we will also have in stock shortly the correct socket tool for the swing arm bolt

lol, you don't need to take the bashguard off, or take the rear wheel off either lmao. The easiest/fastest and most straight forward way to do this is, take the chain off, loosen the motor bolts, undo the rear brake caliper from the swing arm, undo the suspension bolt, take out the swing arm bolt and pull the swing arm off slightly, replace the belt, re-attach everything and add tension to the belt via the cam piece prior to re-tightening the motor bolts. Then lastly put the chain back on.

Anyone else get anxiety when he's taking this thing apart and not knowing how to put it all back together. Wish I could do all these upgrades easily

You don't need that tool to take the castle nut off. Just use a flat head screwdriver and a hammer.
Then you can replace that nut with a regular nut and you'll be able to use a regular socket after that.

Where is the appropriate belt for this off road machine ? A centertrack or muddport belt kit is needed here, why is sur ron doing everything halfway ?

Belt tension? see 4:56 to 5:02, sure would be nice if there was some actual specification on that! My new X Bike seems much tighter than that, in fact, it hurts my pinky finger if I use that to turn the back tire. Its that tight..seems too tight from the factory. I can feel some resistance from the belt when I first start to push the bile on a hard level floor.

@_ Pipeking Funny how western people say Chinese crap or cheap Chinese crap while companies from all over the world (including USA and especially Europe) are still dependent upon China's supply chain even after the global pandemic 😂 The company that i worked for label their products "Made in the USA." But in reality, internal parts are mostly made in China 😂How ironic is that??

I used the conti professional calculator (www.conti-professional.com) to check the desired frequency the belt should swing when adjusted. Result is 255 to 290Hz.

You don't need it. just use a flat head screwdriver and a hammer then replace that 4 notch castle nut with a regular nyloc nut.

If you want a 4 gears with a manual clutch that's full size electric dirt bike then EBeast is the one. We also have a 4 gears electric dirt with a manual clutch that's mid size similar to the ET Time Moto called the EFox! Seen on my Channel
