Good morning Guys. I am always checking the villages app for homes for sale and have noticed prices looking more affordable again. It was had to find homes under $400 for a long time and now there is quite a few. I’m not buying for 4 more years but you never know. We come down to visit my wife’s parents at least twice a year and we always go to open houses (new) on one of the days we visit. We have changed our minds on the stile and size since the beginning. You start looking and go Wow look at how much house we can buy and we where thinking to big. We are in a 1600 square foot house now and we where looking at 2000+ two years later we said what are we thinking and are now looking at 1500 and smaller. We will be down again in January anyway to the reason I am writing you I was checking on 2 homes that we visited in the end of August one was $331,900.00 and the other was $364,000.00 both with oversized lots large enough for a pool as we want to have one installed. We thought at the time these are decent prices. Well first of all their still on the Market (surprisingly) and last night I look and now one is $299,500.00 and the other $319,500.00 And there is no mention of price reduction. I haven’t seen a price drop in 2 years. I m thinking things are not as advertised. It’s very good for me may have to buy sooner than later 😊 From a Faithful Watcher
My wife just scheduled a lifestyle visit for April (my Christmas present) 🎁 We’ve been there before, and watched your videos for years, but anxious to see what “living” there is like. Bringing my clubs ⛳️🏌️♂️
You are clipping it wrong on Gizmo. The clips should go through BOTH hoops, not one clip on one hoop and one on the other. In the event of an accident, it prevents the harness from separating from the dogs body. By the way, I love how Gizmo puts his chin on your arm while you are filming. My German Shepherd is not much of a cuddler, but she loves putting her chin on our arm when driving. We also harness her in when traveling.
Great show, y’all! It touched my heart to see Linda trying to suppress a yawn after looking after five grandbabies for a week. Bless her, I doubt most of us could’ve lasted a day! It surely is a good thing y’all stay fit! Just a reminder, too, that we also have the Paddock Mall in Ocala that is much closer than Orlando. It may have fewer stores, but it’s still quite nice and is a very easy drive with no tolls. It’s only 25 miles from 466 and has Belk’s, Penney’s, and Macy’s as its anchors. I was pleasantly surprised at how very nice it is! Gizmo did a great job, as usual, but he still seems more tired than before. Is he still on his medications? Sure hope the little fellow bounces back soon. I know how difficult it is when your little buddy is under the weather. Love y’all! Maggie
Wow…94 yrs old!?! They look great!! Godlbless them!! Also, come on people! Have a heart!! The parties are probably attended by friendly residents just having a good time! It won’t hurt you to ignore them while you get your mail!!
I think this episode had the best ever bloopers! Can`t believe people would poop out of watching your videos part way through - NEVER! To the end, always, for me!!! Grüezi from Switzerland!
The walking stick you showed us looks like a GIANT pretzel stick,.. 🤣,.. lesson learned,.. when you are hungry, many things will remind you of food,....
Great show. Been home for 2 weeks from our lifestyle visit and already planning a return next spring. On feeding animals we were talking to a sheriffs officer at Sumter landing and an alligator was close and watching a man eating an ice cream. He explained that there are many people who feed the animals which will lead to them having to be put down because they grow up and become dangerous associating people with food . I love that you stressed please do not feed the animals or reptiles.
With the bloopers, it was the "They are from Hampton Hills" for me! I busted out laughing the way Linda formed her mouth and made that statement! I think just the way you both cracked up right after she said it, made me crack up and laugh out loud! You two are such a hoot! You have been a tremendous help to people who are thinking about moving here AND to people who are residents already. At least that's the way I feel Jerry and Linda. The one thing I know is that you can always learn something new and there is nothing better than gaining more knowledge and you both have been instrumental in teaching us all more about The Villages!..........teachers that you are! 😎 🌴❤ You are so appreciated!!
Can you leave some of your bloopers in and not edit them out to bloopers break. I understand editing some out, but I like the banter that you’ve cut out.
Love your videos. Just want to say that I loathe the idea of mandating EVs. I don't mind if people choose them but to tell you you MUST is sort of totalitarian government if you ask me. I'm very upset about this. It will definitely impact our mobility through the country if there are no more gasoline cars.. and if you research it carefully they do not do anything to protect the environment. Lithium batteries have to go somewhere they also have to be mined to begin with. None of it is really good. Once again I'm in favor of free choice but not mandates. Thank you
Great video guys! Enjoyed the jokes tonight. It's nice that you guys are humbled and have no further expectations regarding support or accolades from TV, but man you guys are a HUGE asset to them and TV's present and future community!
Hi Jerry and Linda. Let me first start by saying we drank the koolaid finally! We bought our home last week in the village of Richmond and will close on Dec 12. We will be moved in by New Years Eve. We ordered our golf car on Friday and will take delivery Jan 11. We opted for a Star electric. Yes it is so quiet compared to gas. Last but not least I was on The Price is Right July 2 1976. My kids always wanted to see their mom when she was young and before 2 of them were born. My son did everything he could even going to CBS studios. He said they were locked up tighter than Fort Knox! While we were in our lifestyle home last week I was watching The Pluto station and they show all TPIR episodes over the years. I told the kids and my youngest went to work and found the episode! They have gotten such a kick out of it and shared it all over FB. All my family and In laws have now seen it. My last name was different but thought you might get a kick out of seeing it. I was so thin back then! 😳. I am the first contestant after the first showcase showdown. about the halfway point. It is true you sign a paper that you will not disclose your winnings till after the show airs. Also, if the show is pre emptied you lose your prizes. czcams.com/video/Dl55l08jCGQ/video.html
That is so great! Sandra, can you please send us a picture of what you look like today? We would also like to know more about your experience! If you do, we will use it on Mailbag Monday next week! Send it to: villagesnewcomers@gmail. com.
Glad you had a couple of good trips. We saw Rocky and the Rollers when we flew out to sign the house papers in August. Pouring down rain and everyone dancing in the square holding umbrellas...haha. The band said they would only stop if there was lightning and they could see some so they took a break. Great Band. Beautiful walking sticks. Rodney and Jackie, Congratulations! I don't believe that our house is listed in the Villages 3rd Quarter sales since ours was on the MLS. Correct us if we misunderstand but we think they only count their own sales, so it would be a much higher amount if that is true. Ours sold in about a week as i had a hot finger on that speed dial to the Realtor.☎ Hi to Don. Thanks for the info. Love to Gizmo. Looking forward to the 'Movie Premier'! (Paul used to be a flight instructor) xox
@@JERRYANDLINDA In The Villages Daily Sun newspaper Monday, Nov 14th 'Local & State' segment, they list the numerical answers to many of the questions viewers have; holes of golf # of pools, etc. 📑
We bought our home here in TV two years ago from the MLS and we still had the same treatment from TV. They took our picture in the sales office in front of the sign with all the names of all the other new residents from that day so I do think that they count in the MLS sales also
I love watching your videos. They are very informative however, I have to say Blooper section is my favorite because it makes me laugh. Have a great day🤗
The bloopers were epic, guys. I laugh right along with you. 😂 Excited for the Thursday show! I never thought I would live to see the incredible development of vacant land that they used to hawk via mailers all over the U.S. to folks who would buy a dirt cheap parcel on spec, sight unseen, back in the 50s. They would promise to develop the area, but I don’t think much was accomplished back then, and few moved onto their parcel. I think what was missing was that the developer was not building the homes, just selling the land and maybe building a club house, or not.
I think its pathetic how complaints from the "few" effect the masses. Weve become a society that caters to the complainers. Just venting here. Keep up the good work you two.
My best friend from Jacksonville & I just spent two days in Orlando doing Christmas shopping. We shopped @ the Millenia Mall as well as the Container Store & then Orlando Vineland Outlets. Super shopping trip and only about an hour away from us too😀😉
Thanks for another great video. One comment on electric cars/carts. When I came here 18 months ago from New Hampshire I decided to go all electric. Bought an EZ go electric cart and a Tesla model 3, single battery. The cart can do 21 mph and takes a couple of hours to charge. The Tesla charges at a rate of 35 miles per hour, so best to at night. My electric bill is about $35 per month higher than before. Lastly, with the Tesla there are several charging stations locally. Charging takes less that 30 minutes as they are all 480 volt. Typically the charging stations have been off the major highways for long trips. My GPS monitors my trip and schedules for me when and where to do the next charge. All is very easy to do. Will never go back to gas if possible. Lastly, my credit cards have such smaller bills at the end of the month.
@@frankkeel8410 I lease my Tesla Model Y and the battery is covered, as is the whole car bumper to bumper, for the term of the lease. If you buy, the battery is under warranty for 8 years or 120,000 miles for a Model 3 or Y long range or performance.
We were at the Rocky and the Rollers concert also. We agree, it was the best concert we have seen in a long time! All the entertainers were fabulous and amazing! Wish we had run into you two.
Hi Linda & Jerry, be glad you are back in sunny Central Florida. Chicago is forecast to get an inch or 2 of snow on 11/15. Last Thursday Chicago tied the high temperature for November 10 at 75 degrees. I preferred 75 degrees.
Speaking about the parcel deliveries...What amazed me was, last time I ordered my K-cup coffee from Bed, Bath and Beyond around 9am. Around 1:00 that same day, I got a text saying that my delivery is coming in the driveway. I couldn't believe it. I walked out to the driveway and sure enough was a person with my coffee. Turned out Bed, Bath and Beyond used "DoorDash" for same day deliveries . I had heard of them, but never realized what they did. So, same day delivery did not cost me anymore than my initial membership to BBB. Yeah Jerry, I use all the convenient's of todays delivery systems and love it too. So paying for Prime and membership to BBB is still worth the fee's considering how many deliveries " to and from" my home that I do in a years time. Thank you and enjoy watching you two twice a week, every week. You'll are just part of my weekly routine now...😀
Yes, bed, bath and beyond does same day delivery because they have so many stores. Also I think they're trying to increase revenue because they took a big hit during COVID.
Another great show, you are both always so entertaining and informative! Gizmo is always a hoot with his jokes! Really a fun way to start the day! Can't wait to see that video on Thursday....looks like some beautiful aerial photography!
I went up with a friend in his plane a few years ago. He gave me the controls! I FLEW THE PLANE! What a experience. I told him I have to knock one thing off my bucket list. Moving to the Villages is also on the list.(working on it). My neighbors just moved there. Great show folks. Keep them coming.
Your bloopers crack me up 😂 When I talked to Chuck about scheduling a lifestyle visit, I told him we watch your show and he knew what I was talking about. So TV staff do know who you are! Thanks for another great shew! Glad to see Gizmos in top form! 🌴☀️⛳️
Jerry and Linda. How funny the twins. My sister and I are both in The Villages and we have red hair and our names are Fran and Ruth!! Are they our relatives?
Great as always you two. That amount of yearly sales is staggering. I know there is also allot of Building going on at The Villages perimeter, do you think Services can keep up and are they Building more Fire, Ambulance, Police, Medical Care Facilities? A huge demand on First Responders. Have a great week.
Another fun, entertaining, and informative video. I didn't catch what you called that "walking stick" (or whatever you called it,) because Linda was talking over you. Looks amazing!!!! You're both such a bundle of joy and giggles on a dreary Monday. Winter is a little early this year 😕 but you're always a sunny day ❤️🧡💜🤎💛💚💙
We totally enjoyed today's show from the bloopers to Gismo's jokes. I especially love the bloopers because they make me laugh out loud, Linda cracks me up and your reaction to her too. I was trying to think of ideas for your future shows to give you food for thought. People love to see and hear about the personal lives of others and I was trying to think of what you could do on that end. Personally I would love to see and hear more about Linda's twin so I thought maybe you could have her on your podcast. What that would look like I have no idea and maybe it would be best for the two of you and Linda's twin to figure that out. You haven't shown too much of your personal life and I truly get that but people are nosy....lol.....maybe I should say curious. To whom much is given, much is expected. You guys are getting more and more popular and people love watching your videos and after a while more is expected of you. I could be wrong, what do I know about all of this anyway, I can only suggest what would be interesting to me. That being said, just be true to yourselves.....it has worked for you so far. Love you guys!
Who is Jerry and Belinda? LOL? Great show as always. Linda the yawn was perfect and I'm glad Jerry did not edit it out. I laughed along with you both at the bloopers, no bloopers.
I just love you both plus Gizmo. The Hurricane passed us after 24hours of rain. No flooding but our beautiful Deerfield .Beach Fishing pier got torn up, flooring and guard rails plus only one cam out of 5 working and pier lights not working. There’s s short CZcams film of giant waves tearing up our pier. Amazing film. Gizmo looks healthy! So 🙏--. your both a joy and thanks for putting out this video! 🦃🇺🇸🦃🇺🇸🦃🇺🇸🦃🇺🇸❤
Love watching your videos after what we been through here in Ft.Myers but we finally closed on our new house in South Ft.Myers after 26 months so you and Gizmo are welcome to come down for a overnight stay and I will show you around in our new golf cart. Brian Koch
My two grandkids have that mini trampoline, and like yours in that photo, just jumping and hanging onto the bar isn’t enough. They have to invent more daring ways to use it. My thin, 7 year old grandson kept putting too much weight on the handle, leaning toward the front of the trampoline and almost tipped it over a couple of times.
How great is it to have a "family" affair babysitting!!! Your walking stick looks like a pretzel. Very nice pretzel! Your sneak peak air ride was neat. Could he fly a little slower so we could take in more of the landscape 😀
I Love the walking sticks
Bloopers are the best part.

Yes and the battery replacement is $20,000
@@frankkeel8410 Yes correct and they should put the old one in their back yard..GREEN Person
@@frankkeel8410 I lease my Tesla Model Y and the battery is covered, as is the whole car bumper to bumper, for the term of the lease. If you buy, the battery is under warranty for 8 years or 120,000 miles for a Model 3 or Y long range or performance.
I love your videos. What a great couple!
❤❤❤❤❤
I could tell the Shameless house was in Chicago before you even mentioned where it was. I live in Naperville and that house looks so “Chicago”.
Hows sales I'm 5 mins away ?? ALOHA
Yes just got a company to Do my Snow today $45 a month cheap ..Let it Snow 6 ft..ALOHA
I love the Bloopers! Jerry looks like his head is going to explode and Linda just laughs it off! Love it!
Thanks, Candice! 😁😁
I love how Gizzmo is so snuggly with Jerry while he's talking.
Jerry and Linda. How funny the twins. My sister and I are both in The Villages and we have red hair and our names are Fran and Ruth!! Are they our relatives?
So cool!
Winter is a little early this year 😕 but you're always a sunny day ❤️🧡💜🤎💛💚💙
Thanks, Ms. Lorie! Yep, its a walking stick. 🙂🙂🙂
My guess for the removal of the the gates is to prepare for loss of electricity...whereas the gates would not work.
The flight scenes aren't quite up to Top Gun standards, but it has me pumped to watch Thursday's episode just the same.
Thank you, Shirley! You're a peach!
Did not know that about Deerfield. Makes me sad ... my old stomping grounds.😥
Love watching your videos after what we been through here in Ft.Myers but we finally closed on our new house in South Ft.Myers after 26 months so you and Gizmo are welcome to come down for a overnight stay and I will show you around in our new golf cart. Brian Koch
Hope you didn't sustain too much damage. Glad things are going your way.
@@JERRYANDLINDA no we didn't very lucky mother in law lost everything but getting better every day
Excellent show, as always!! We will be one of those future 460,000'ers! We can't wait...still saving and we'll see ya when we get there!! :)
❤❤❤❤❤
Thank you for the video. Always fun to watch. “There are some nice Ohio State fans” 🤣🤣🤣🤣 Go Blue !!
Thanks again guys for a great show.
Looking forward to the “Premier Show “ on Thursday
We'll be down there on Thanksgiving! Mostly thanks to you guys! Thanks so much for such amazing info!
The one on the swing looks like grandpa
I remember Ruth from your previous show and always wondered how sh was doing... sounds like she's doing great!!! :)
Gizmo looked like he was pooped out from the grand kid visit.
🤣🤣🤣
