GHPC hotwheels. Imagine, a whole set of GHPC power wheels hotwheels.
I hope those fenders are stitched or seam welded on the bottom since they are only tacked on top.
will is dad
Put a deck on top of the entire new shop. You can put a few fire tables hooked up to the main gas, chairs you can lay back on, a sweet bar..... Imagine the shots you could get from up top! ...Also a great place to fly drones from....And you have a mega entertaining spot, for events...
I'm beginning to think that Will actually just likes push-ups or something 🤔
Love seeing Will learn new things. Only thing I would add is to remove the hood strings from the sweatshirt. Lathes are fantastic and dangerous beasts and I would hate to see Will get hurt.
If you're lucky, the lathe removes the hood string for you, and only the hood string. Or the chuck grabs the string, and your entire head/neck gets pulled into it. Don't wear hoodies with strings near the lathe.
Came here to say this
Hood strings should not be allowed in any workshop! period!
Came here to make this same comment.
Was just about to say that, I would even say do not wear a long sleeved shirt at all!
5:58
Lathe lesson number one. Tuck in your hoodie strings 😵💫
or just take it off. long sleeves are not good around a lathe either.
Came to the comments to say just that! Lathes are super dangerous man!! 🫣
After seeing so many china and russian lathe videos i cant stand watching untrained people using or even near a running lathe
I just commented the same before I saw yours 🤝
Do your turning in a full body Latex suit preferably
"Are you qualified to use this tool?"
"I put this tool together ma boi"
Question still stands...
given he isn't wearing safety glasses while using a hydraulic press, I'd say no haha.
A fair assessment.
Will is our guy at work that has some nearly genius ideas, but asks if the hospital closes completely down on Holidays.
" Oh...I didn't think about that. Yeah, I guess they can't just send every patient home for a day"😂🙄🙄🙄
True story, regarding g a 30 year- old.
@@tmmtmm true
@@joelspaulding5964 of course he would ask about a hospital's operating hours
“The verb of Lathe is not lathing it’s turning.” 😂
“Jackie Chang Li’d It!
I hope you guys just sit down and appreciate how rare it is to have friends like you guys, 80% or more of people I talk to would never understand this kind of stuff
Will just needs to refer to Ethan as sensei at this point lol.
This! :))
It's cool to see the mentorship
Wills shop skill have improved dramatically
(in Mr. Miyagi voice) grind on, grind off. left circle, right circle, smaller bite william-san
I think all of us should?
It's great to see Will being taught some new skills. Though I was a bit concerned when I saw him leaning over the lathe wearing a hoodie. The last thing you will want to have happen is to catch a hoodie sting into the chuck while it's spinning.
Dude I’ve seen so much shit on Facebook as soon as he bent over I looked away from my phone and then realized I was watching CZcams
I've been waiting to see the return of the mighty ChangLi Jank.
P L E A S E redo the 100-mile challenge, it will be EPIC!
it really will be!
@@GrindHardPlumbingCo It will go places you can't even walk!
i cant even wait for the next build vid
lol the JANK on the grill is PREMIUM 🤣
It's the Jank Li🤘
Will is lucky to have Ethan as a mentor, and for pointing out that it's time for some push ups. you have to remember interest accrues very quickly. an important fact about credit that is often overlooked. now you need to equal the rear suspension with some AWESOME front suspension. I definitely like these guys they are my kind of people doing everything the most fun way possible.
Depends if Steve is doing interest compounding or not?
You should demonstrate to Will what happens if his little tassels from his hoodie gets caught in the lathe
6:43 a second ChangLi? 😮
I spotted that and it looks like the feminine Jeeps you see
Ironic that the colours are inverted tho
Its litteraly a ChangLi Explorer, go look it up! A futur project as been revealed 😂❤
Another Jank-Li woohoo!
Looking great! A rear bumper might tie that rear end together nicely 😉 Let's see what Willy can do!
Yup, something to cover that rear end so the axel survives Wills's next crash. Cause ya know it's gonna happen, right!
3mm steam piping tube FTW. Checker plate inserts and match to some side steps and then he's only few steps away from an exoskeleton 🤘
"Will that escalated quickly🍺"
Hold my beer
It's like your filming Wills evolution, and I'm loving it 👌
Imagine what he’ll be like in 5 years!
@@shakyhandpictures2185 If he survives that long, from what luck he has it's most likely. Fingers crossed.
Looking good, gentleman. Can’t wait to see the next one. Have to say, I can really relate with Will in this stage of his life. I hope he can figure out how to slow his internal chaos engine without suffering too much. I’ve been there and I know how easy it is to wind up way down the wrong road. This is such a great opportunity with a good group of people. There’s a lot of humor that can seem like it happens at his expense. The push ups, for instance. That seems like it could be wearing on him. Just want to say there are a lot of people rooting for him out here. Wishing you all the best. 👍
can we admire the fact that will is becoming more mature and slowly turning into another Ethan
If you run no rear antiroll bar and put a front one in, it will drive around corners on 3 wheels like a stadium truck. This also works on most solid axle coil sprung 4x4s, those however tend to prefer to do it on one side more than the other because of the direction of engine rotation.
I have a little cupid butane heater I use to keep warm when I'm parked up in my truck. It would be sweet in the red rocket car.
" I Jacky Chang leed it", quote of the year🤣😭. This is my favorite channel
Best part is everyone is building, having fun and no one is taking it too serious. In the end you have good off-road Frankenstein vehicles that thrash. Love it.
6:40 WHAT! 😮 THAT STICKER PLACEMENT was fire 🔥 Will, that was so clean 🙌🏼💯 #everlast #premium
Perfect right?
Perfect right?
Please talk about the blue little miracle in the background...
@@upkpoxeromg I didn’t even notice that! Nice!! 😂👀🙌🏼💯

Tell Will he is describing the Fu Manchu mustache 😂
The Barbie jeep series kept me entertained for days whilst I was stuck in hospital on my own in another country! Really got me through the rough time, now I eagerly await each upload! Keep it up lads 🙏
The grinder sequence at 19:49 was extra premium, loved the reverse sparks.
You guys are asking for it running that lathe in hoodies with the hood strings dangling and your sleeves rolled down.
Insane!!
Will I’m so proud of you and how far you’ve come. Your presence on the channel is whole heartedly premium. Keep up the great work!
This thing awesome! Can't wait to see what it's going to be like when it's finished. You guys should make a high clearance rear bumper, rock sliders and metal front bumper if you plan on doing some heavy off-roading with it. I've been looking at the 4 door pickup version of this electric car for a few years now, thought it would be so awesome to do a build like this, upgraded suspension, tires, bumpers, sliders, tiny roof tent, upgraded motor batteries and finish it off with a flexible solar panel wrap. That way you can take it on overlanding trip and when you're running low on power just find a site to camp for a couple days and let the solar panels recharge the batteries then head back on the trails to the next location
I love this series and this channel, so much inspiration happening every time
Watch what I can on break at work then watch the rest when I get off later! Super stoked for this one
Think this is my fav build yet. Fell in love with the jet boat and snow busa but this thing is beyond cool! Only like 2 minutes in this video while typing.
Seeing Chang Li videos makes unreasonably giddy with excitement. All the tiny cars that make Will and Edwin excited get me all excited too!
You guys are amazing, I love your videos and I love that they are longer, you guys inspire me to work on go karts and lawnmowers and to just always do my best and to be and built better also to go for it and send it, much love from Germany and thank you for being yourselves
I've been Machining for 44 years Will's new word is awesome
kraft!
Self explanatory pseudo words ftw!
JANK. THE PEOPLE WANT MORE JANK. 100 YEARS JANK. Love this series. Its the exact kinda project i would do if i had the money to buy one of these cars. Props to Will improving his fabrication skills too.
I love that Will is working on himself and building character
I LOVE this project and can't wait for more!
I feel like it could be a little tippy with the shocks so far inboard. but hopefully that works in you favour for articulation
If they make the axles super heavy & not overload the roof rack it’ll help keep it off its roof. Unfortunately being electric they need it light as possible for distance/range.
I love the podcast! It's a great addition to the channel. Almost a behind the scenes of all you guys and builds!
Gotta love these guys verbal use it's continually changing
Idk why I'm so happy someone is pouring so much work and money into one of these pieces of garbage but this is one of my favorite things on youtube right now
can you make a gas powered grave digger montertruck power wheels
Yes great idea
It's been done befor rather be welding did one
just go watch RatherBwelding with his
This best channel! I’m 48 and it’s what I always wanted in a design/build show. Thanks for the amazing content 😊
Whenever I see someone drive over something or do something sketchy the phrase "Goes where you can't even walk" automatically plays in my head! You guys are now living in my head rent free 😂
It needs some custom off-road bumpers (it would be premium)
One minute crew!
2 minute crew!
One minute
Good work Will. I'm glad you are learning fab work. There is now no limits
The ability to think outside the box and come up with such cool content is amazing . Love the builds.
Two minutes crew 😂
3 minute crew👇
Didn't make 3 today, however 13 ain't bad.
15 here
Is that a CZcams thing? Mines shows 3 minutes
Better then a 2 pump chump.....

Ethan is a great teacher and an awesome fabricator with huge amount of knowledge. Greetings from Sweden 🇸🇪
Happy to see will coming into his own. cool project!
Absolutely BEAUTIFUL video as always guys. This one had a bit more oomph to it. Well DONE. CINEMATOGRAPHY 10/10
I think my favorite thing about this channel as an engineer is watching them do everything with no gloves, no clamps, no bench Vice it really is impressive. Cutting a fender? Hold it against the table with your pelvis. Welding a small shock mount? Hold it in place with your hand two inches from the welder. I love it, never change guys
your channel has provided me so much enjoyment and entertainment. thank you guys!
Sick video guys. Camera work is really stepping up a notch along with Will's skillz
You guys are my favorite channel. I love seeing the Chang Li transform so far from what it's creators ever thought 😂
*Something i noticed* yall using the 20 ton harborfreight press grab the pneumatic bottle jack from harborfreight and fit it to the press fame instead of that pump style. So much easier and time saving!
Great job on the video folks. Thanks for making it. I love your apparent design philosophy of, "I wonder if we could..."
You guys are premium! All this channel needs is a sleeper Miata!
You guys have an entertaining vibe, love this cheapest car series !!
The Franken Tank is looking epic , would love to have the ability to do all this and been good watching the channel and team grow
4:08 you can do it through another method, that's not that used in the industry because it's expensive, and that's to make a shaft. It will be the same diameter as the ID of the joint, and where it accepts the two spacers, it will have whatever size you want. The only thing that's extra about it, to make it as strong as possible, you machine the shoulder transition with a rounded tool and cut a chamfer in the spacer to accept that shoulder as clearance.
I've done this many times. No need for a bolt, heck you can even forgo the threads and use quick release pins (quality ones), they will suffice if you offer them up with a stainless steel washer.
I love the video! Also Will standing on the tack welded bumper at the end to show the articulation 😂 Glad it’s tacked on well!
Oooh, a new grind hard plumbing co. video, now the weekend can start. 🎉❤
The Chang Li getting a nice 4 link and fox shocks is like Pinocchio saying I’m a real boy now!! I love the project tho, and hope to see it get 100 miles or more!! Good work guys
But he dies after being Linched
I can’t wait to see this build finished, 1000 mile challenge here comes Chang Lee you better look out
Will is leveling up pretty hard. Looking forward to the next 100mi! Someday (not soon) the apprentice will become the master....
Everyone talking crap about will and his lack of skills/knowledge, to him getting support and love is literally what life is all about. We can all learn something here: just keep grinding. 💗
The whole format of this video was killer.
Can't wait to see the fire truck toy hauler come together. Hope you guys can get back to it soon.
Can't wait to see the Chang Lee done, gonna be awesome.
i love that everyone of you guys have their own personal project... soo premium ;)
Im sooo ready to watch the 100 mile challenge reboot. You guys are gonna totally kill it.
I waited this video since you tryed that 100 miles challenge for the first time, i need more because im curious to see what it would look like
23:28 Willy just popping out the car like a salesman in a cartoon 🤣
I really enjoy watching Will making stuff
`Tell Will if you put the end of a marker through the hole of a washer and use the washer to follow the body line you can get really close to what you need
They really put that plasma cutter to work forreal every video is cutting and cutting kind wild seeing this channel grow from harvesting parts from other projects to making there own brackets and parts hell ya guys keep it up
The Rubicon Trail is going to be tough in that!
There are no words for how hyped i am for the real challenge after all these modifications!
I love that this has turned into Ethan teaches shop to Will ;) 😂
Cant wait to watch this thing Roll Over!
Love the new outro!!!! I'd love to see that in more videos. Makes it more exciting for the next one!!!
The Jank Li is coming together in epic Grind Hard form!!
One of my fav builds on YT right now!
Really enjoying this series. It would be cool if you guys bring this to the freedom factory when you go
I have the same 20 ton press as you guys do except I got rid of that slow moving hand jack and replaced it with air over hydraulic 20 ton jack. Then take the little hand control for it and replace that with a foot pedal control. It operates so much better and faster and has tons of power. it was the best upgrade I made on it and I think you guys would be very happy if you did the same
Amazon sell some pretty cheap shipping scales that could be used for smaller project like this to get corner weights. That would take the guesswork out of selecting springs.
Nice to see Ethan getting on board with the small car shenanigans
Hi Guys,
What a cute all terrain car you’ve made.
Looking forward to your next vlog I send you love from the Netherlands
Man I love the work and ideas you guys have keep them coming thank you
Love the content guys.. was getting ready to build a go kart today.. moving parts past my escooter and trailer..
Got an idea-for a build.. motor trend built a turbo trailer for a Monza..
I’m thinking a push trailer (like you have push trucks or trains for big hills in the commercial world) for your e bike.. a cheat.. Trojan horse trailer.. run a small Honda (or chinesium hongda) on a bike trailer, chainsaw clutch, push bar for the bike. Add a bracket for an alternator and battery pack to charge bike on the go..
Add a wooden horse on top-to cover the trailer-Trojan horse.. lol
Oh man I’ve been so excited for the next instalment of the Chang-leeee
This is a great series. Go Chang Lee!
I love how will says Chang Li. The accent is fantastic.
Excited to find the next weak link in the ChangLi on the next 100 mile challenge!
Such a good duo. Love the adventures.
Love when you make these things better!😁 I so Badly Want One Of The Mobility Scooter One For Seniors.
Using your bare hand as a c-clamp on those shock mounts 😬 respect.
