Psst- It is hyGrometer. A hydrometer looks like a huge thermometer bobber and is used to measure the alcohol in liquids.A lot of people make this mistake!
You have to use the right mixture: 1tsp salt + 1 Tbsp + 1 Tbsp water. Mix it into a slurry. If not the right mix, the rh could be off of the standard 75%. There's also a Boveda Test Kit for $8 on Amazon that is already premade and spot on.
I don’t understand why mine isn’t working. The humidity keeps dropping every time I put it in the ziplock bag. Like wtf? I take it out and it says 65… I put it in the bag with the salt and it drops to 54…

whoops lol
Thank you !!!
by the way pressing the button only changes temperature from F to C
By putting the hygrometer on top of the shot glass aren’t you blocking the salt from being humidified into the bag?
it seems to work.
how do you calibrate that hygrometer? I have the same one but mine is off by 20 % rh. it's 55 instead of 75 with the salt test

@@dr150 It’s Tea Spoon, not Table Spoon, although it would probably work too.

Can you show how to change the RH with that style of hygrometer?
I don't know since i dont use this one anymore. I think they come with directions.
what kind of humidity sensor uses this product? the product absorbs moisture?
What? It's a hydrometer. The boveda packs absorb moisture
