A question, sir...can you explain or maybe have an idea as to why my fico equifax score dropped 18 points, and my fico experian score dropped 12 points this last month? I paid both my bank loans on time (set up through autopay), i paid all my credit cards in full and on time (as i do every month) and kept my utilization under 10%. The only things that changed during the month were ~ i hadnt used any of my cards yet for the month so my credit reports all showed a zero balance on all of them, and i put a freeze on all the bureaus (including the 2 that most people dont even know about, but i cant remember their names) because my info was found on the dark web because of AT&T's data breach, and because someone tried to make a charge on one of my cards, but was flagged immediately so i had to get another card. Other than that, nothings changed, and i cant find anything on any of my credit reports that could have caused it. Thank you for all that you do to help people with their credit journeys.

I don’t know what works for People but I like to make sure my Credit Card is paid off at least a week before the due date which helped me bring my credit up

People need to stop just running off on what they heard. They need to put in the research. You can't always verify outcomes, but we have a lot of resources to verify some of the strategies. There is enough information out there to get a general sense of how credit scores work.
