Mosswood dreadknight is a cool addition to this deck. An essentially infinite value creature that can be sacced to gitrog and replayed on future turns for very little mana. I like him

So I'm kind of going opposite of what everyone else is doing. I'm putting a lot of low-powered low cost creatures. But all of them either have death touch or some effect that absolutely sucks to deal with or they scale and get bigger!!! Then i use a ton of land fall triggers to overwhelm opponents. Quite fun!!!

Do you have a list that you can share?

I love the gitrog and was already looking into making this deck so I’m very excited to see what you put in it.

Very good list! A lot of the cards I went with are similar to your list, big shoutout to Ob Nixilis, the Fallen (he is disgusting in this deck).
I definitely went a little harder on the landfall thing with cards like Tireless Tracker/Nissa, Resurgent Animist, along with sac fodder like Bloodghast and Skyclave Shade. Drawing 2-3 cards and playing 2-3 lands off the top is plenty of value.
You definitely had the right idea with playing all the creatures whose power scales off of the number of lands you control. A future card to add to this deck when Bloomburrow releases would definitely be Lumra, Bellow of the Woods.
I'm a huge fan of this version of Gitrog. He can easily be recast when killed cause of his saddle trigger ramping you to pay for commander tax. Just cross your fingers and hope you get that first big saddle attack through, cause I imagine people are going to try to kill him before he connects with someone.

One card I'd recommend is God-Eternal Rhonas. Doubling power and toughness and giving vigilance, as well as sending himself back to the deck when removed. Seriously underrated for Gitrog if you ask me

Seems a tad too slow imo, you want a big creature out and then cast gitrog on the following turn. Rhonas seems nice but costs a lot of mana that doesn't immediately help.

@@tiemsels76 maybe. I've seen pretty positive results in my build, but that might just be me

Great video! I pulled Gitrog from some packs I got and immediately thought to make a deck with him, but didn't know where to start. This video was a great help!

You can use saddle if the gitrog is shrouded or even if the creature you saddle is shrouded.... it's not a target ability
