But Frank and his family were even more amazed when they discovered what she left behind. I was present when Frank shared the turtle incident (incidents!) on his IG at the time. What a time! All us fans gathered there, watching live updates on the turtle story as it went. Okay, that was pretty amazing; kudos to this father and his kids for learning (and teaching) the right lessons.
Years ago when my daughter were 5 and 6 years old we were playing in the park and I noticed a Great Horned Owl flying into this bunch of bushes and said lets go check it out. We walked over very quietly and I pulled back a branch and there a huge mama and two little owlets. They just stared at us with those big eyes. We didn't stay long just a minute or so and slowly backed away and left them alone. Just getting a little peak at nature while doing no harm.

I had a snapping turtle come into my yard a few years back. She left on her own. A couple of months later, I found two babies. My kid and I took them down to the creek behind the house. The next year, 2 snapping turtles showed up in my yard. I always wondered if they were the two babies. They didn't lay eggs but I always kept an eye out and walked the yard before I cut the grass.

I used to live in the country, no I didn't move the town came to me and I have Cardinal's nest in my garage only way in was the dog door along with Possums, skunks and other critters looking for a safe place to birth and a nice old man who puts out vittles for over 30 years. Sad to say but with all of the progress that's happened my friends stopped showing up.

Frank Iero has been very concerned with animal safety since he was a kid himself, he's a vegan because he doesn't want to consume any animal products, so his kids very likely are raised in a household that actively and openly promotes care for animals. They also have a bunch of dogs!

I’ve had the same huge female show up every May, she comes a half mile away and into our stream where she lays her eggs
I remember watching this because it popped up on my feed since I follow Dodo, and being like “wait, that’s fucking Frank Iero!”
I found a very small baby box turtle while mowing on my farm. Put it back at the edge of my woods. So awesome to watch nature in action
I rescued 7 on a major hwy. Stopped with flashers on...got them, and someone else stopped and he helped. (box turtles) I took them all home, fed them night crawlers, fruit and greens, then took them to a place wayyyyyyy out by a slue bridge away from people and let them go. Plenty of water, grubs, bugs etc. One was really special, I could hold him and he would eat and always came to me when I sat down. Would have loved to have kept him, but somehow that did not seem right. Wherever you are Speedy, I hope you are doing well and enjoying life.

@Cmd Dowd A few years ago, on October 30, it started to snow. My dog was out in my yard barking like crazy. I went to look why, and he was barking at two Tiger Salamanders that were cuddled together. I live out in the country, far away from other people, in an arrid dry grassland area. There are no Tiger Salamanders around here normally. Yet here were two huddled together for dear life. They don't usually do that. I'm the kind of person who took them indoors, put them in a warm wet terrarium for the winter and took care of them until Spring. They would have died. I set them free in a pond 40 miles away from where I live. So....Why Me? Because there is a God. He sent them to me for safekeeping. Same with the turtle in the above video.

The sack on the baby turtle is common to all turtle breeds. I have seen them on many different breeds in my lifetime. We raised Zimbabwe spotted leopard turtles a neighbor picked up there when it was Rhodesia. Thanks for the footage of the big female you had drop her eggs in your yard.

I reminds me of when a family of mockingbirds made their nest and had their hatchlings outside a window that my kids could look right into. It was a little miracle happening before their eyes. They're both in their 30s now but have never forgotten watching those parent birds feed their hungry babies. The kids in this video will forever remember the miracle of the mama turtle and her hatchlings. I believe, like my kids, they will always have a reverence and wonder for nature.
That is a precious important memory with a lesson in it for all. Thank you for sharing!
My wife is home all the time and she seen the 3 baby blue birds take their first flight out of the birdhouse. My wife was Amazed and so Thankful she had the honor of seeing that
