CAN I JUST SAY IM SO HAPPY YOU DON'T BLUR YOUR SKIN OUT WITH LIKE THE CAMERA AFFECTS GOD IT MAKES IT MUCH MORE REALISTIC UGH I HATED HOW MY MAKEUP WOULD TURN OUT BECAUSE MY TEXTURE ISN'T COMPETELY SMOOTH AND PERFECT LIKE I WANT IT TO BE AND SEEING OTHER PEOPLES TEXTURE MAKE ME FEEL SO MUCH BETTER I LOVE YOU SO MUCH NYMA KEEP DOING WHAT YOU'RE DOING SIS
Keyandria Miller I had the same issue. I would hate my makeup because I could see the texture of my skin underneath. I would get mad because I could see my pores and rosacea. it’s nice to know I’m not the only one struggling with that.
Yessss!! I realised after awhile that when watching foundation reviews i was just going off of their word and not what i was seeing coz i couldnt see sh*t! Id think a foundation looked nice and thend theyd roll their eyes and say "this foundation is the wORST!!!" 😂😂
Ella Pinkleton same! I’ve returned so many foundations to Sephora and Ulta. I think the worst one on was the cover fx foundation drops. Everyone raves about them online. I used them on my face and it showed every dry patch I’ve ever had on my face. It also oxidized and I was walking around looking like I dipped my face in Cheeto dust.
Same here. It looks great on screen and in photos for when you just wanna show a beauty shot, but it's not very helpful for viewers who are trying to learn. That's why I decided to keep my videos clear of any smoothing filters. You can see my natural skin texture even when I do my "smooth makeup" routines. Lol

Bought their foundation it's my holy grail now! Even my husband paused blinked and asked what I did different that my skin looked amazing. When straight men notice and comment on make up you know it looks good!

I'm here for supporting black brands and I love their concept... but these shades of foundation and concealer looks all kinds of orange and red....🤔 but yet they blended out on you in the end and looked fantastic.... so perhaps they are on to something that is beyond my understanding. The eyeshadow could have been more pigmented seeing as it needs to be formulated to show up on even the darkest of skintones... but in the end it looked beautiful and that packaging!!!!😍😍😍
All the lippies looked bomb and that gloss sure did deliver! Overall I'd have to say they are off to a very decent start, let's see where they go from here!

I think they dry down less orange. Like the opposite of Fenty.
Agree 100%. I was surprised by the dry down with how orange and red they looked at first. And those lippies! I would love to see how the matte & shimmer/metallic lippies look on her. Would have hoped the shadows would have been more pigmented. The dark red barely showed up. Curious as to how the bright yellow will look on her.
I agree too. When she first dotted it on her face I was like =O oh girl. But then it blended out SO beautifully and made her skin look gorgeous.
Yes they look orange at 1st but they definitely dry down to a cooler tone. There must be some kind of new technology there as many people have mentioned it and I also saw it in my own video of the concealer which I recorded but have been too lazy to edit. It should be out by tomorrow. The change is amazing after using it. Its turning out to be my best concealer now:)
I love this lens, because it makes me feel like you're a human and have pores 😂 some beauty guru's look so photo shopped and flawless I can't see what the foundaition/ concealer looks like. ❤❤

I so appreciate you not doing the studio lighting and lenses that kind of blur and wash out the skin!!! So nice to really be able to see the texture and color of all the products
Yes! I always felt like I didn't apply my makeup well because I could see my skin imperfections but other beauty gurus are just messing with us.
That close up had me winded. YOU’RE GORGEOUS. Like your black is beautiful. I hope this doesn’t come off weird 😂😩

I would definitely say they need two deeper shades with truly neutral shades
I always panic when Nyma goes to put on her primer cause I think she's gonna smear her foundation everywhere. Then I remember no, that's just her flawless skin.

Honestly an underrated thing I love about Nyma is that she doesn’t use a ridiculous amount of face smoothing filters in her videos, it’s nice to see for a change

Out of all of the foundation and concealer try ons I’ve watched you do this set has matched your chest the best, I know you went down your neck a bit with the foundation but even just at the end and seeing how well it matched with your hands is stunning. I absolutely love how they didn’t give you talking points or wanted to really screen what you thought, instead they wanted to know HONEST feed back. That is a brand that will automatically have my respect, even if something won’t work for me (idk I haven’t tried anything yet but want to try it ALL). A brand that wants genuine reaction and genuine thoughts is a brand that cares about their customers and care about amazing products & not just a quick cash grab.

Have you ever used the APDG liquid pigments, they go deep enough where I can use them to contour and the foundation that's my closest match is NARS sheer glow in Mali, so I think they could be deep enough for you to try.
