Micheals sells a thick elastic it's over in the bead/jewelry section. I had a bracelet I loved and the thin elastic broke and I fixed it with that elastic and got several more years out of it.

pro tip: i've heard that if you coat your costume jewelry in a spray sealer like thompson's waterseal, it keeps the pieces from turning green. never tried it myself, but this video reminded me and i want to do it now! love you leighann! 💗🤗🌻

I know unwanted advice can be so annoying but hopefully this is helpful. I also have trouble with cheap earring sensitivitys and I have to paint the post with clear nail polish. You have to repaint occasionally, but it has always worked for me. Love love love your jewelry and videos..

I think the jewelry travel case is a great gift idea for my boyfriend's mother but there isn't really a reason to get a gift especially a travel one right now.. So I created an Amazon list called gift ideas. And I think you just changed my life? Am I someone who thinks of Christmas gift ideas in July now??!
hahah I literally just turned to grant and brought up christmas gift shopping two seconds ago because of the Nordstrom sale 😅 I love buying gifts and always have a note in my phone for collecting ideas when people drop hints throughout the year. definitely a game changer ❤️
Living 3,000 miles away from my family for over 45 years I've always begun Christmas shopping in July! Back in the day, it was needed in order to wrap and ship care packages to friends in the service in Vietnam (I was a kid then), then gifts to my family when they moved across the country. Now it's not such an issue as we're all old as dirt so we donate to charities, but I still shop off-season when I see something someone special would love. It's a great surprising habit to have.

Happy Friday Eve! I always love your jewelry. For years when you buy something if I don't have it I buy it LOL. I'm more of a silver person, but especially that tiny coin necklace that you used to wear all the time that's one of my lifelong favorite. There is a store on Etsy called the Golden Beverly, I really think you would like it. It's a lot of monogram stuff but I really think that a necklace with yours and Grant's initials would be super cute. I got the double monogram necklace recently and it's a really cool and unique fonts. Almost doesn't look like letters. AAAAnnnnd it is absolutely amazing 😀

Sometimes you can prevent reaction by applying neosporin on the post and back. Its hard, i have nickel allergy too. Also use clear nail polish if the finish comes off.

As a teacher I can assure you trapper keepers are still a thing! Middle schoolers love them and they have straps to carry them around basically like a backpack!!

I'm from the UK and a lot of our influencers have been wearing layered jewellery like this for years. Mejuri is pretty popular with them and another favourite that's popular is Missoma, I love their jewellery. Might be worth checking out as it's similar style to Mejuri.

How do you layer your necklaces without them twisting together? Whether I wear one necklace with multiple strands or multiple necklaces, they always twist with each other.
Also I used to LOVE turquoise jewellery as a kid. It felt so precious & a bit magical! 💧
Now I don't wear jewellery aside from a watch/earrings, I just can't deal with the feeling of things on my skin/getting in the way! & I also get allergic reactions to cheap materials for earrings 🤷♀️ Your jewellery looks gorgeous though. 😍

I have problems with earring too. They have to be completely gold or silver. I can wear a pair that aren't gold or silver for a short time if I coat the part that goes in my ear with Vaseline. I like to do that for occasions when I don't want to invest in a pair but want something that goes with an outfit.
