I explained ultimate shield a bit wrong. It's only a 50% chance to block all damage. This is just a general guide to help people that want to set up Poppi. This video contains spoilers because I can't keep my mouth shut.
I want to release some fun videos trying to solo or pull off some feats with a strong common blade I have as well as maybe making some different guides.
A last note, I mentioned this at the end of the video but gonna explain it a bit better here. CZcams has changed their partner program to where you now need 1000 subscribers to become a partner. I would like to become a partner so I can get some money to hopefully get better recording/streaming equipment. I'd appreciate any subs I can get but don't want to become someone who sells out for them. I'll try to continue making interesting content.

hey for the new and old guide is either one better for playing as tora compared to having him as an ai? I don't particularly like playing as tora but if I have to too for either of these to work I will.
@@epsi1259 A bit late. So long as Tora has QTpi, make sure his saber has his break art equipped on it, and make sure his topple and smash arts are off of alpha and QT. Build her however you want, aside from a few objective best things to have (critical healing, affinity max attack etc) you can run QTpi however you want, she's THAT versatile. Even without QT's evasion art, for example, Tora can become a better evasion tank than morag with better aggro generation and sustain. That's just one example, he can literally fill any role with QTpi alone. Use QT and alpha as stat sticks, and give them both Hunter's Chemistry and you're good to go.
To elaborate on the driver combo arts that I mentioned: Tora, Rex and Zeke are programmed to prioritize driver combos, whereas morag and driver nia will prioritize blade combos. For Tora, this means that, because Break is the first part of the driver combo, Tora will never switch off of QTpi until he applies break, but without topple and smash on the other two, he doesn't bother switching to switch blades.

Thanks for your great video. I was able to grind out everything. I am bad a tiger tiger so I did everything on level 1 easy. I didn’t know you could scrap parts for crystals. Thank god I found that out today. Saved me a good 45 tiger runs. I get about 1k crystals every run getting the chests. Man I really hope this carries over to new game+ I have enjoyed all your videos looking forward to more.
I maxed her chart out within an hour or so. I'm taking my time with this game. Been playing it on and off since it launched.
Pretty much what I did. I figured out by myself how to get crazy damage with Poppi. I was hoping to get some ideas on how to best use QT.
My only wish is that I didn't get mostly tier 1 poppi parts from stage 5 of tiger tiger

The most challenging thing about using Tora and Poppi is not throwing your Switch at the wall when you hear "Mehmehmeh!" for the 10,000,000,000,000th time.
Nice video! I set up my QT pi to be another Mythra but dark element. I wish they'd add more powerful unique monsters cause at this point there's absolutely nothing challenging anymore :'(
A few of the suggested parts can be found from Tora Tora (chapter 8+) so while farming Ether, you can play those stages and save a few thousand Ether.
Level 3: AC System Restore V and AC Critical Up V can both be found in Tora Tora 3

If anyone is having an issue with poppi a’s skill chart. Send her out on Merc Missions and itll max it out pretty fast (it does the tiger tiger skill chart too) also, if you don’t want to grind tiger tiger play ng+ and buy ether crystals and/or mods from certain bards

Hello I stumbled across this video while looking for other Xenoblade videos and honestly I liked the information it kinda want me to grind to make Poppi QTpi broken as all hell but I've notice one thing in you editing that could help you out. The only reason I it found out you're using it is because I have used it in my own videos you're letting the editing software make you're voice louder than the background sound effects/making the background music softer than your voice. It might be better if you just make the background altogether lower than your voice it makes the video sound cleaner(at least in my opinion) maybe by about -5 - -10 dB I hoped this helped just trying to help other creators whenever possible. Male Loincloth isn't better than the Variable Saber? Isn't it like +50% damage so long as the blade is a girl, as all his is?
My setup for Tora was a little weird, where I mostly only used QTPI, and I put team heal on her specials and more or less used her as a healer, tank, and DPS at the same time. It wasn’t enough to act as a healer for the super bosses by herself, even with crit-heal setups on the attackers, but it did mean that I could put an attacker on my healer (KOS-MOS on Nia) without risking anything, making my chain attacks do way more damage. I also gave QTPI the fast art recharge blade art and used her as a pivot for just about all of the blade combos.
I used that team for all the super bosses, an it worked well enough that I didn’t need to watch out for powerful moves to I-frame them.
Edit: oh yeah, I gave QTPI a master tank mod and a crit-heal build to give her incredible defenses so she pretty much never got killed.
And oh my goodness Zenobia does a ton of damage to the superbosses. Her level 3 special in particular in a chain attack stacks like 4 bonuses.
Semirhage Stack that with Kos-Mos and Heralds lv1 specials that make crits deal more damage the rest of the fight.
12:41 Or go into New Game+ in order to send the three Poppis on Merc Missions (which is what I like to do with my non-Legendary Blades, since I have yet to beat the game), in order to skip the really annoying Affinity Chart grind.

Any good method to level up level 1 to a higher level like level 50 quickly?
Won't matter which enemy it is as long as it's under level 100. I'm trying to earn as much ether crystals from the traveling Bard
The best method I've found for me is the reeking Douglas and not sure if any other enemy give as much exp as him in a burst.

How long did you spend playing Tiger Tiger?
Sitri to get all the master mods + light element core I personally spent 6-8 hours (with breaks) on it in total but by the end I had pretty much all the crystals I could ever need. Might be exaggerating but it did take what felt like forever

Hello Enel do you have a method for filling out blade affinity charts? It’s the one thing I find some clunky in this game is running around inefficiently trying to get all of the nodes requiring me to kill obsolete obscure mobs.
Also, if I want to grind tiger tiger which stages should I be doing to get the items listed in this build? I don’t want to be aimlessly playing it not knowing if I’m grinding the right stages.
Ursala merc missions were how i filled out most of my rare blade affinity charts. They're 10 minutes and fill up 3 half nodes each. You can send out 6 blades so very efficient and not much effort.
Hopefully in the shop for new game+ they allow you to buy ether crystals, that or all of the invested crystals (unlocked slots and raising capacity) carry over.
Currently buffing my poppi and it's fair to say it'll be annoying if come friday it ends up being a waste of time as it doesn't carry over.

Both of those happened. Your ether crystals and all items for poppi carry over, and you can buy 20,000 ether crystals for 200,000 exp. (It's much MUCH faster to grind exp via bosses than to play tiger tiger).
Tora can get 500plus agility by master evasion mods but it does reduce his damage potential .

I can see why you didn't go with the Master Tank Mod on Poppi ɑ. It takes up room on the tank. I just need to figure out where the Dilation Chip is to boost her blocking.

In temperantia, along the southern shore there are blue level 60-62 serponds. They drop a decent block chip, which also increases item drop.
Mirror matter chips is what I used for level 60s

Hi i habe been trying to find an answer to a question ive had for quite a while, i hope i can find it here. Can someone please tell me if its possible to lower Poppis energy output? Ive upgraded her to the max output of 1450 and i have her at 1448. I had no idea you could max it out, and now i wish to change her to this build but i cant it tells me i dont have "enough energy". Im just missing the last three. Is it not possible to lower the energy output?
You have to remove parts to lower energy output

Fight the superbosses in the brigands hideout in gormott. You can kill it by putting a dark orb on it to seal reinforcements. It's level 104 but you can kill it at about level 65
Do Tachyon chips add higher block rates?

No. Dilaton chips are the best block rate chips in the game. Tachyon chips are for high damage + crit damage on axes, and moon matter chips (what I use on basically all attackers) are for high damage + high crit chance on everything.

My Team now consists of Rex, Tora and Morag. No need for healer. The main key is to put Team Heal on Poppy QT and QT Pie's 2. and 3. Blade Arts. I find this mod to be slightly better than those damage boost on full health.

Sabre Hosp favorite item spam. Lots of it. Hours in fact. Also, the amount of trust you get has a small rng factor to determine how much trust you get from 12-20 per item.

Hey, I feel like I have seen you somewhere before...? Anyway, I have done a little more research and optimised my QTπ, and damage multipliers don't stop working, but get less and less effective, at 250%, for example, the multipliers make very little difference / crit damage becomes more effective. A max QTπ should have a 320% sheer damage multiplier (Including +100% from overclock) and then +100% crit damage from Pinpoint Weakness V and Optical headband. Also, for a sidenote, now that the 3rd core slot is available, use crit heal I, and take all the slots

X was even worse, you could get so ridiculously strong that you could literrally NOT loose. Critical damage in xc2 is weird because it is HUGE, I have seen with QTπ that your damage is reduced by a solid 60-70% when not using headband and Pinpoint Weak. V. 40% crit rate is pretty solid, but its not extroardinairy, yet she is still by far the best blade for DPS. ANY crit modifier at all +damage than sheer multipliers. Its just really essential

Male loincloth is an additive multiplier that is added to all the other additive multipliers. Saber attachment, optical headband, and hi-tech eyepatch are separate multipliers that increase damage more. I'm not sure how much sense that makes but you can test the effects for yourself.

Why wouldn't you use the male loincloth? Is that not the best damage booster in the game when it comes to items?
It isn't really even close. It's just a 60% additive for a 3 crown.
Male loincloth gives an additive multiplier while weapon attachments and crit damage multipliers multiplies ur damage

It depends, Poppi QT can only use water, wind, fire, dark, and earth type cores. So if the only cores you have spare are electric, ice, or light, no matter what QT won't be able to use it

Buster isn't anything like the other forms of Poppi

Yusei255 Buster is treated as a regular blade. It's not nearly as customizable, and isn't that great, all things considered. I don't know what you mean by "outfitted with the same parts," but aside from core chips, they don't share any of the same customization options.

Good place to level up from 80 to 90?
Patrick Simpson for low 80s, the northwest area of the lower level in tantal should have low 80s. If you're looking for stuff a bit higher level, Chansagh Wastes has mid to high 80s. The way I pushed from 90 to 99 was beating up Cloud Sea King Ken, he's actually not that hard comparatively to the other superbosses.

Do a launch before completing a blade combo. Get S+ rank and the strongest chip you can put on her. If she has high critical, you might be able to land a critical hit to do max damage.
Yami but how i need that 9million link in her affinity damage first before i can get her to S+. I just want to know if I can do 9million with a chain attack without her in the team and if it counts for her affinity
Ruby San It's pretty easy to pull off max damage with a chain attack on Sea King, with 7 or 8 orbs. I'd recommend giving that a shot.

Im pretty sure that if you get a Full Burst you're pretty much instantly granted a max damage attack. Can't think of a single time i got one and didn't see max dmg number pop up multiple times, and even if it doesn't, just max out her Poppiswap first to get her bonuses up.
I think changing poppi's role changes her affinity chart. Would it make sense to do that with any of the poppi's?
Prince of Hyrule the only thing that actually changes are the specials depending on what you put on poppi in poppi swap

I've been experimenting here and there but not exactly good with it
The deimos saurus is pretty easy to defeat though, i farmed it to reach level 90 starting from 81/82 and i only used a chain attack when it had a tiny amount of health just for that bonus exp
might i ask how to get to lvl 81? currently lvl 64 and after finish most of the sidequest i'm probably around 70. so how to close the gap?
saren yim try playing through the game and find every beatable unique monster you can as you do the main quest, then find a comfortable UM (unique monster) that you can grind for the next few levels, i recommend using a chain attack to finish them off and do it when they basically are 1 hit from death, overkill bonus damage is turned to exp at the end.
I did this for a bit till i went to 81 then tried to beat the deimos using nia, tora and rex and trying to get as many orbs to chain attack once it was at 40% health
