Ah, the scotsman... another peripheral and almost forgotten character that only made a few appearances. Marcel Wave's run-in with a camel was also memorable, as was Kate Bush's self-parody. I wonder how many celebs would do that nowadays?

Ironically, unbeknown to you... Brian Bennett also played the Syndrums on the Countdown theme (written by Alan Hawkshaw). Weird but true.
