Nice. I was hoping there'd be a walk-around of this rig when I saw it pop up on Pierce's new delivery page. A shop drawing tells you only so much, so it's nice to hear Capt. Gallardo provide a little insight regarding what they plan to put where. Still, I might have to plan a trip down to Ft. Lauderdale to take a look once fleet finishes the upfit and get some ideas for when my department starts planning a replacement for our hazmat rig.

@@chrismiller3490 it’s like a joint force BSFR has its own commissioner but I think it works that way because of billing and what not but a lot of cities use BSFR for they’re mutual aid but as well as primary services. Plus the port uses them as well. It’s confusing but a lot of cities use BSO for law enforcement

@@mattlenardson6567 ok. Never heard of that type of setup but if it works for them i guess its all good. Just sounded a little unusual. Thank you for the clarification

@@chrismiller3490 yeah it’s weird out here but Miami Dade fire kinda does the same because Miami Dade LEOs are both deputized and police officers so the can execute warrants and seizures as well as evictions but they work together with local law enforcement for each community that has their own officers and police force. And the fire rescue is on the same level with mutual aid but over seeing stuff like the surf side collapse. Same goes with West Palm Beach fire rescue that they to have a big department that handles a lot of communities but yet like Boca Raton Fire has their own fire department for the most part they still watch over them with TRT and Hazmat. It’s super confusing on how things get handled but hey I always no that things get done with medical and accidents no matter what so why should I complain. Lol.
