- This is from my March/April 2023 bikepacking trip around South California. This video depicts mostly the beginning of the trip.
This is the second video documenting my experience on the California trip. Another 10-12 videos from this trip are coming in the following few months.
The first video is:
• My First Ever Bikepack...
Other fictional videos from that trip are these:
• Into the Desert I Go -...
• "The Slot" of Anza Bor...
• Joshua Tree Calls
That's some nice nature out there 🏕
Lucky it wasn’t a dry season. Winter snow was thawing then and that’s why there was so much water everywhere
This was so funny 🤣🤣🤣🤣 thx
Happy to hear that. Makes me laugh when I think of people finding this video funny 😂
Very cool
Thanks man!
I'm extremely impressed that you started planning this trip so long ago and yet were still physically out of shape when you started out! Some of the terrain seems almost impassable by bike, but you still went for it anyway. Chapeau!
Thank you very much!! It was more difficult then I anticipated
Great video, fantastic message, and wow those landscapes delivered! I really appreciate this video for the narrative and comedic timing. The pacing of the video made it very relaxing and sensational to watch. I may not be a bikepacker but being included in your journey gave a clear window to see inside of that world.
You certainly made yourself into the shape of a bikepacker with this trip! I'll be sure to share this video with my peers~
Thank you openDIP!!! I’m glad I brought you along for the journey!! Going to Hawaii next month to make myself into the shape of a bikepacker yet again!
Damn. I'm deeply impressed by your mental strength. Even though I was in a completely different situation when I started bikepacking, I know very precisely how hard it can be to ride day after day, on your own, through weather that makes you want to stop, and I can only imagine how much harder it is when you feel like you aren't making any progress because you have to hike so much. Seriously, I deeply respect you for what you do and really hope that you'll continue your journey, getting physically better into shape and being able to ride further and further.
Thanks Lucas, I really appreciate it!!
What was your situation when you started bikepacking?
@@TheWildOutThere I had been riding long distances for over a year and started with a couple of 2-4 day trips before setting off for my first "real" adventure, so I never really struggled with not being able to ride all the time.
You will get into shape be it in terms of fitness for the wild adventures or in term of your CZcams subscribers buddy. Thanks for motivating me.
Thanks buddy!! I’m in bad shape on both accounts hehe
