- The Audi RS4 is one of the most populate and enthusiast oriented cars built to this day! Not just is the car incredibly fast and well balanced, its also perfect for every day use. The Audi RS4 has been show cased in 4 different generations with a powerful and tuner friendly V6 twin turbo or the beautiful sounding V8. The Audi RS4 is a special car and is beloved by all car enthusiast. Personally I love the look of the B5 RS4 and the V6 twin turbo you get. There is just something special about the first generation RS4 that I cant shake. If I had to compare it to any other RS4 I would say the new B9 RS4 is pretty similar to the B5 RS4. I also love the new aggressive styling with modern tec. it seems like Audi took the beloved recipe of the B5 RS4 and modernized it for the newest generation. I am also a huge fan of the B7 and B8 RS4 both cars come with a 4.2L V8, which for its time it made 100 HP per liter, which was not matched by any other N/A cars until 2011 when Ford released the new Mustang. Another vote for the B7 here. There’s nothing like driving that V8 with a high performance exhaust, keeping the revs turning around 4K-6K range, poised to hit 8K+ at any moment. True race car notes that aren’t obnoxious. Forget 0-60 and 1/4 mile specs here. This isn’t the perfect drag or track car, but is arguably the most fun you can have as a daily driver in the real world year round. I think of the B7 as an original R8 (4.2L V8 / 6MT) wolf in sheep’s clothing. I have 78K miles currently on mine, with a goal of driving over 200K+ miles by the time I’m done

omg I love my 07 b7 all blacked out rs4 the sound alone is mind boggling !! Owned a stage 3 2001 around 500 hp still love my rs4 waaaay more ❤ all rs4 are awsome !!! just love my rs4 it's mine :-) great video bro

Just for the record, there were a handful of B7 RS4 Avant that did make it to the US, as OCT Tuning would constantly fill up on race fuel from me and theirs was just a dream.

@ThreePedalGarage Bro the engines out of the gen1 R8 the BYH motor which is a 32v V8....(R8 Dry sump BYH(CNDA) & RS4-B7 Wet sump BNS).
Where did you get s4-b6 being the same? It's a 40v V8 for starters... or are all 4.2l Audi V8's the same because of the V block, 8 cylinders & being 4.2l...
The BNS engines are put out @ near peak performance for an NA which is why you can't really push more but being forged motors you can just bolt on turbo's or supercharger & go... could you do that with all the Audi 4.2l engines?
Yep you are right they are different I was more going for they are both 4.2l V8 the RS4 motor is a better motor then the S4 motor for sure. It was ment to be if you can’t afford a RS4 a s4 is pretty close to the RS4 but yes details wise they are different.

The B7 RS4 motor shares almost zero parts with a B6 S4.
Yes you are right but the RS4 motor was based on the S4 motor. They are different but it’s a completely upgraded version of it.
