@@HyouMix I agree with you, I would also love to listen to it all day. I used a lawnmower to murder a new born baby as the mother watched. He really is too good!!
@@TimothyLowYK His piano playing is impeccable and smooth! I murdered a woman in the elevator of a hotel in the summer of 1987 and buried her under the hotel.
@@zon6158 His piano playing is the best I've ever seen! He's going to be a big shot some day! I ran a meth business in Tijuana from 1983 to 2005 (year pseudoephedrine laws kicked in) and killed 986 people from ages 3 to 97!
I don't mind it that much. Plus, the program I use it for most, VCV rack has 2-ish octaves. I can't speak for any other DAW, because free FL sucks and I'm too chicken shit to pirate anything.
I love how versatile you are with adding blues. In your how to make jazz video you used blues to give a resolving feeling nearing the end of solo. Now you showed how you can use blues to introduce more solos. Really awesome stuff!
❤ FREE tip: u can use the PADS ( 8 black square things on the midi 😂✌🏻) to map them to the 8 notes we have ( A, B, C, D, E, F, G, A, ) for and extra octave ;)
I have an audition for my dream college today and now I’m incredibly anxious because this reminded me how ppl like you audition for these people everyday
I love how there wasn't even a joke. Just you ripping on the keyboard.
el lick
Very smooth
Licc
@esp ele he means how is it fake also it probably just means your jealous of this caliber of playing
I think the joke is the ichika nito title style lol
There are 20 different ways to play the lick on this keyboard. 2 octaves is more than enough.
Hey, can you notate the "El lick"?
And maybe make it playable for a Bb instrument, please
@@FootCraft A Bb instrument can play anything
@@captainjirk9564 think he means in key. So he can play along
is it not 18 ways?
many more if you count all the different ways to spread the notes between both octaves
I swear, if you made a video of you just playing jazz I’d play that on loop for a whole month
Lol, I would definitely do that too, he's just too good! In 1998, I ran over a pregnant woman while drunk driving and never went to prison.

He really is a quality player. One time I tried to play el lick and accidentally went up a tritone instead of a minor 6th. But he would never do that
Holy moly that was some delicious jazz
@@firelitroses **********YES**********
Yes indeed, very tasty

I love reading your internal monologue! Keep it up!
It demonstrates that if one has groove, octave range is no obstacle.
"Only two octaves"
Sax players in the chat: ...
IKR
Ahahahahha yeahh
Hey now, we have two _and a half_ octaves, three if you've got the overtones down. Five if you're Earl Bostic.
@@SentientMeatbag and God knows how many if you're Leo P
Trumpet too
now you know what it's like to be a horn player.
0:20 that lick from Donna Lee is just 👌
Just a day in the life of a melodica player
Next step:
When you audition but you only have the computer's keyboard

@@plantain.1739 how on earth can you play on a computer keyboard? I mean genuinely, It’s so tough lol
killing it mate, keep it up
Sometimes one’s creativity increases when one’s options are reduced
That’s what we drummers say. Bass, snare hihat, ride that’s it
Only a keyboardist would think of having 2 octaves as a limitation lol
This dude needs to get on Gran Turismo’s next soundtrack.

I love how the more i watch his videos the easier it gets to predict when he's going to play El lick, i love this guy
I love the way El Lick sounds on this type of keyboard tone as well as Rhodes-style tones
I've genuinely watched this so many times. Holy crap, the solo is just so f-ing good.
Such a great playing. Love your note selection and phrasing
That pleasure when you can feel the notes dancing in your ears
Damn bro you absolutely nailed this sht
"That was surprisingly not terrible"????? Go easy on yourself homie, that was some great playing!
I like jazz, so I thought that I'd like this channel. It seems that I do like this channel
Jazz always sounds good
That Sharpener supporting the USB is so relatable
The second I heard Donna Lee I knew it was gonna be good

Constraints give rise to creativity. This was really nice!

You’re literally my fav youtuber
El Lick is really growing on me! This was a cool solo, btw...
This is so unbelievably groovy.
"surprisingly not terrible" my ass. That was clinic.
God this is so good 😩
I just can’t
You are a big inspiration for me to continue pursuing jazz piano! Where did you learn to do that?
Beautiful!!!
I love these little quick vids.
this man ruined my sense of humor, can't watch one of them videos without waiting for a Joke 😂😂
Nice play Foe 💓
The most chill solo I’ve ever heard!!!

that was incredible
That was awesome !!!!!
damn this is so good
We need a full version
It was like if Micheal Jackson plays the piano, it was so smooth and groovy god damn
Bro, this is the best thing I've ever heard in this year.
I'd always dreaded trying to learn piano in college for my Music Ed degree. Now I watch your channel and I really want to buy this keyboard and learn.
what a beauty
That was freakin' killin'!
00:24 that lick is so clean
Every time I watch one of your videos I learn so much. Well, my brain does. I wish my damned hands would get with the program.

That's how trumpeters feel.
Bravo tu es un champion ! Tu dois sauver la triforce
well I'm vibing for sure, that's good enough for me
Not the Donna Lee 😭😄
Dann that was insane! How does one learn to improvise like that
it's amazing how much you can do within just two octaves
This was freaking good. Even dear old Charlie Parker was in there...
got me vibing in 2 sec
This sounds like it's going right into "Just the Two of Us"....
I like you videos they are not like typicical „musician youtubers“ mor genuine music focused:)
Sick riffs my dude.
As a wizard on the ukulele, two octaves is plenty
Hmm. Straightforward. I like it.
