    Did you feel a great improvement from 200 to 300 after the remap? Some 200hp owners say with 200hp the performance is nice...I supose the performance with 100hp more must to be brutal in comparison, is it true?

  • @Roadjull
    @Roadjull Před 5 lety +5

    Nice, relaxed driving. Any estimation on actual time with just you in the car and no yellow flags?
    I wish there was a "track" setting on our Veloces to automatically deactivate forward collision warning and warning lights on hard breaking and maybe loosen up the ESP a bit. I think the car would then be a lot more fun.

    • @Pred1ator21
      @Pred1ator21  Před 5 lety +3

      Roadjull thx for the comment! You are 100% correct about ‘race mode’ for the normal Giulia! It would be so much better. I think a realistic time would be around 8:30 bridge to gantry when I have a no yellow flags and without the extra weight :)

    great video! I also started to drive my Giulia on the tracks. I was impressed by the dynamic of the car last time in my first HPDE. What would you recommend if I want to upgrade the car for a safe and fun track day?

    • @Pred1ator21
      @Pred1ator21  Před 5 lety +1

      Even in stock form the Giulia is amazing on the track, i agree! What does HPDE mean btw? :) I would recommend put new and better brake pads and a good sticky high perfomance tyre or even a semi slick tyre if possible! This lap was done with Michelin PS4S and i'm very impressed with the tyres on and off track :)

    • @notusli
      @notusli Před 5 lety +2

      Ben_Cupra280 hi thanks ;) HPDE means High-Performance Drive Education, it's very popular in the US. Basically, you drive your car on the track with an experienced instructor. I have another HPDE event coming next month in the beautiful Laguna Seca Racewa. Thanks for the Michelin PS4S tips! I am also considering changing the pads first. Any brands or website recommendation?

    • @Pred1ator21
      @Pred1ator21  Před 5 lety +1

      Yuliang Li I would suggest pagids rs29 or ebc yellowstuff. But maybe they have other brands in the usa ;) cheers and have fun with your Giulia!

      @@Pred1ator21 , Thank you, I am looking to buy Giulia Q2 instead Q4, because of 100 kg less in nose. I had AR159 Q2, and it was the best upgrade I did on car. I hope with q2 ESP is turning on very late, almost newer?

    Would you recommend the Car for the Ring ? How does the Brakes hold up ? I love the Giulia QV but dont have the money for it. So do you think the Veloce is a good alternative ?

    • @Pred1ator21
      @Pred1ator21  Před 5 lety +2

      The car is very dynamic and drives amazing on the ring! I would recommend to take the optional brake upgrade and differential if you plan to take the Giulia on track. The stock brakes need a little rest after every lap ;)

    • @Clint_Moto34
      @Clint_Moto34 Před 5 lety +1

      Sounds good. Did you solve the TC Problem ? Are you able to turn it off ?

    • @Pred1ator21
      @Pred1ator21  Před 5 lety

      Urban POV No.. not a chance to turn it off. Maybe in the future the tuners will figure something out or if Alfa facelift the Giulia they will include a sport button with TC off :D

    • @Gameover571
      @Gameover571 Před 5 lety

      There is a tuner that offers an ODB dongle that turns off TC and ESC for about 400E ;) (there are other ways but they have big downsides)
