Lupus: An increasing cause of death among females

  • A medical condition called Lupus has been found to be the leading cause of death among females in some countries. A recent study published in the Arthritis & Rheumatology journal shows that this chronic inflammatory disease now ranks higher than diabetes and HIV. Although there is no known cure, experts say pursuing a healthy lifestyle, including a diet and supplements may help manage the symptoms.
