Technically Tea has a flawless duel record in the anime. Granted she only ever dueled twice, but she won both times.
Yeah and even though she did struggle through them, she still won, thanks to Yugi helping her how to play and what to use.

@@theredhhooded632 if we count her duels against joey both on and off screen she supposedly has a win ration in the tens to 20s of all wins. since joey states that tea ALWAYS beat him due to his deck being nothing but shitty normal monsters. Tea is no king of games but she's easily one of the best duelists in the show, and probably a few steps above even the likes of Tristan. and certainly a cut above newbies like serenity. She beat one of the big 5 after all, even with just a deck of cards she had to pick out on short notice. You could argue tea's even better at dueling than Duke, who at a time was more skilled than a post duelist kingdom joey. She's seriously underrated and has gotten extremely good at dueling over her time with her friends. If tea from the end of battle city took on Joey from Duelist kingdom, there is a high likelihood that she beats joey.

he essentially killed himself, left his brother as well as his company all behind just so he could battle an ancient ruler (that even gods bow down to) in a card game (plus settle an ancient rivalry that's thousands of years old).
This is beyond based and just illustrates why Seto Kaiba Vs Yami Yugi (Atem) is up there with Goku Vs Vegeta as one of the greatest rivalries in anime history.
Kaiba put his own money, along with stolen magical tech, to use, just for the salty runback.
If Kaiba isn't the epitome of pride and pettiness, I dunno what is. Vegeta don't compare.

How big is the age difference between Tristan/Duke and Serenity. Yugi looks closer to Mokuba's age than his friends so I can't guess based on height. I know Mai is apparently in her mid twenties so her romance subplot with Joey might actually be worse.
I think at this point we just try to not think about that anymore.
