    I guess you can get the sound in stereo if you use your laptop and a soundcard right?

    Is there a quick way to put all your music files into WeDJ? Only thing I seem to be able to do is to call up each track from an album individually, then create it as a playlist! And create/add your own samples?
    FYI - Spotify no longer works outside of its own environment - they don’t like people using it as a music source for DJ software - when it did work, it only worked with the premium version!

Also, I tried the Serato DJ lite on my laptop but when i play music i can hear it both on my speaker and headphones and I am not able to pre-listen /monitor the next track solely on my headphone. I have purchased a separate RCA red/white cable and I plug this into the y-splitter cable that comes with the controller which then connects to my phone. The speaker I use is a Bluetooth speaker but has the ports for the rca red/white cable, but when I have headphones and speaker (connected via the rca cable) connected to the y-splitter cable, I cannot hear any music. Why would this be?

    One must take note when purchasing the Pioneer DDJ-200, that whilst you may have a paid for account to stream music via Apple Music, or Tidal, one CANNOT record any set unless music is purchased.
    Second factor, you may have downloaded your music via your Apple or Tidal accounts, BUT if you are in a remote location with no cellphone signal- only purchased tracks will be able to load.
    Another key is that this controller does not have any output for any cables on the actual controller, the only output is via a split cable that connects to your headphones and your AUX cable.
    If you have an IPhone, you cannot charge your phone while mixing unless you have an iPhone lightning to headphone Jack adapter.
    If you are broadcasting via Bluetooth to a Bluetooth speaker, one cannot use headphones.
    There are many other reasons to consider saving rather for a Pioneer DDJ-400 an upward if you really want to get into dJing.
    Hope this helps.

      As i know, DDJ 200 uncompatible with several devices. Do you used Android phone ?
      If yes, it means DDJ 200 unsuitable with your phone/gadget.
      I've try when i used Android phone and connecting to Djay Pro Algoriddim it can't work.
      The devices need PIN and our devices can't support it

    • @84jordie

      You dont need a pin to connect with android. Just turn on the bluetooth and connect using the app edjing. After that, you can go in Djay and thr device will be connected. I tested on Galaxy S8 and Note 9.

    How to connect the controller to your headphones and the speakers at the same time? Is that even possible?

    • @xaviergms2225
      @xaviergms2225 Před 4 lety +1

      Pioneer provides a split cable with two 3.5 mm female jack inputs going into a single 3.5mm jack which will go into the phones dongle or headphone jack. The two split 3.5 females will then house the headphones and the other a 3.5 mm to red white RCA (one) which will then go into the pioneer DM 40 (which are made specifically for the ddj 400). It sounds complicated but it's piss easy if you have all the gear in the video.

    When you do the apps video please will you cover djay connectivity to an Android smartphone. Unlike djay for iPhones (which uses bluetooth midi) Android smartphones need a UBS cable. Does that mean that the controller powers from your smartphone? And at the smartphone end of the cable what flavour of USB connector is provided. If it is USB-A on the cable and you have a USB-C or USB micro smartphone, do you need a converter? Will djay be releasing a version for Android smartphones with bluetooth some time soon? Thanks.

    • @chuck_b
      @chuck_b Před 5 lety

      New ddj-200 controller arrived today. Android smartphone powers the controller fine. I needed a USB-A to USB-C lead to connect the controller to my Android smartphone. Streaming from Spotify Android is fine over the cable connection. Hopefully a bluetooth midi version of Android djay will be released soon. If you have any news on that please let me know.

    Great content, but I’m having a problem with sound. I bought a ddj200 for my son and the sound out of the headphones AND the speakers even when turned right up to full volume is really quiet ! What are we doing wrong ? I thought initially it was a sound card failure but I now see that the 200 doesn’t have one inbuilt, so it must be something we’re not doing right on the actual app then right ? He’s running it on an iPhone and using WeDj, he’s only 13 and a complete novice but he’s at a stage now where he’s really frustrated and he says he’s tried everything ! HELP !! Lol

      @xaviergms2225 Před 4 lety

      Hey mate hope you and your son have resolved the problem if not...I would suggest going in to the wedj app and in settings there are various options FAQs then troubleshooting might fix your problem. Also there is no sound card in the controller everything is done via the iPhone itself. The controller is just used via Bluetooth to manipulate what's happening on the iPhones screen. If your problem persists let me know and I will try to set up my ddj 200 and iPhone to your set up. LOL it could just be that the iPhone volume is too low. Good luck and don't forget you need a powered speaker system with like the pioneer DM 40 in the video.
